Combining an 11 amp motor with smooth maneuverability, this canister-style vacuum cleaner by Panasonic delivers powerful cleaning performance. On-Board Tools
For above-floor cleaning, simply remove the floor nozzle to attach one of the onboard tools. Use the dusting brush to clean tabletops, lamp shades, and other surfaces, and put the crevice tool to work sucking up dirt, pet hair, and crumbs from in between couch cushions and other tight spots. The combo crevice tool and dusting brush store on the wand for quick access. Even more, the vacuum cleaner's Edge Grabber attachment features a unique shape that conforms and directs maximum suction to hard-to-clean areas like where floors meet baseboards.
Convenient Design
The bagless vacuum cleaner comes equipped with a removable dirt cup for easy emptying as needed, while its HEPA filter captures small particles such as allergens, irritants, and pollutants. Other highlights include an on/off bare-floor switch that shuts off the agitator, a large carrying handle for easy transport up and down stairs, a 16-foot power cord, and automatic cord rewind. I bought this vacuum because the neavy duty one is too heavy and whenever there is a need to vacuum, I hesitated because of the weight.
Now, with this new vacuum, I am excited about cleaning because first, it does the job wonderfully and secondly, light enough to lift on your one hand and third it works both on the floors and carpets, and forth, this vacuum can reach and clean under the bed, shelf, any corners with no problem.
My carpets are Persian and not deep carpet.
This is more than what I had expected of. I am thankful for the two reviews above I trusted before purchasing it. They are also correct!!
Anyone who is considering to buy a heavy-duty one, no need.
This is the only one you need in one household.

If you want a Dyson-killer and save money to boot, this MC-CL310 vacuum is just the ticket! It is so elegant and simple in design, you can take it out of the box and assemble the few components in mere seconds. Then off to dust sucking land you go! The device is essentially a dust-buster on steroids, but it works through the suction wand even though it's so lightweight you'd be curious to try it as a hand-vac. The multiple filters design is great at preventing blowback of fine dust into your environment while you vacuum. It has a coarse "funnel" filter to direct incoming particles into the generously sized chute. Then that air is filtered through a fine particle smooth mesh filter so that tiny heavy dirt falls back into the chute. After that, a superfine particulate cleanable paper filter, much like the ones in car intakes, keeps microdust from entering the suction motor assembly. Finally, there is a nifty HEPA filter that cleans the exit air. NO more coughing and runny nose for YOU !!
Of course with ANY "bagless" type vacuum, you must take care at emptying the dust bin. I suggest that you carefully undo the chute/bin assembly (a simple one-button process) and take the thing outdoors along with a can of Lysol (or similar) gentle-pressure room spray. As you pop open the filter tabs, which swing downwards, you then dump the entire contents, including the blue funnel-filter, into an 8-gallon minimum sized clear plastic trash bag. Then quickly spay into the opening of the bag with your Lysol to damp down any fine dust that tries inevitably to rise up. Allow a few seconds for the dust to settle, then reach into the bag and remove the dust funnel. Annoyance of bagless vacuum resolved! Optionally wipe down the funnel or rinse it off with water, as pointed out in the instructions. I like a damp microfiber towel to do the entire vacuum to keep it looking gorgeous and new. For long life, clean out the filters with the included brush or a can of compressed air, or a simple 1" or so soft paint brush -- you get the picture. Panasonic suggests occasional GENTLE washing of the filters. I agree, as these parts are built tough; but keep water washing to a minimum to avoid fiber tearing over time. Sure would be nice if AMAZON listed a filters pack for this vacuum.

I bought this vacuum to replace an upright vacuum. I like this product because it is light weight, works well on floors and carpets, also easy to vacuum stairs because it is light weight. It does not take up a lot of space, is easy to move around with and reach under furniture which an upright cannot do. The power cord rolls up with a press of a button which is a nice feature.
