With its distinctive double-hose design, the 12-amp bagless Panasonic Dual-Sweep is able to distribute powerful suction across the full width of its 14-inch cleaning path. Built for both carpet and bare floors, the vacuum features a simple floor-selector switch and an edge-cleaning construction for baseboards and furniture. In carpet mode, the floor nozzle adjusts automatically for changes in carpet height and uses counter-rotating dual brush rolls to agitate dirt out of carpet. In the bare floor mode, the brush rolls shut off to protect surfaces. Completely bag-free, the vacuum collects dust and debris in a large transparent cup that can be removed and emptied when it fills. An enclosed construction and hinged bottom hatch make this process relatively tidy. Inside the dust cup, a tap-clean pleated filter traps fine particulates to reduce the amount of allergens and irritants in the air. In addition, a 6-stage HEPA system filters air as it returns to the room, keeping dander, dust, and pollen inside the machine. A performance indicator light comes on when suction is low or blocked.
This machine is equipped for above-floor cleaning tasks with an onboard hose and tools. Conversion to attachment cleaning on this model is manual but quick--simply remove the hose from the caddy and insert it into a port. The attachments include an extension wand, a long crevice tool, and a dusting brush, for up to 9-1/2 feet of reach. The entire tool caddy can also be removed to reduce weight. Helpful details include quick-release cord hooks, a carrying handle, a furniture guard, a headlight, and a cord retainer hook. For safety, a thermal protector cuts power to prevent overheating, and a motor protector vent automatically opens if a clog occurs. This Upright Vacuum from Panasonic has a 12.0 Amp Motor, 25-foot Power cord with Quick release and a 14" cleaning path. It also has the following unique features.Counter-Rotating Dual Active Brushes achieve excellent pick up in the first vacuum pass. The design grabs the dirt coming and going with the counter rotation action and two tufted double-row brushes. Dual Suction Paths allow for more evenly distributed airflow and suction power across the width of the nozzle. Electronic Dirt Sensor alerts you to the presence of dirt with indicator light even dirt you may not see. A Clean Air system, the dirt is deposited into the dust cup before going through the fan and motor. You will not break a fan with this type system. On board tools with ready to use attachments made cleaning baseboards and above the floor as easy as it gets. The attachments include a crevice tool, dusting brush and two standard wands with a 9.5-foot reach. The Vacuum comes equipped with a HEPA filter.
