Operating on 12 amps of power, this cool butterscotch-colored vacuum cleaner has two counter-rotating brushes to provide double the cleaning action and is excellent for reducing allergens in the air as well. A convenient foot pedal lets you switch quickly between vacuuming floorboards and carpet, and another foot pedal adjusts the handle to one of three different positions for comfortable handling whether cleaning open floor or under furniture. Equipped with the True Trak system, the vacuum’s nozzle automatically adjusts to the height of the carpet, rug, or bare floor and constant pressure on the nozzle keeps it in contact with the cleaning surface. A 14-inch cleaning path reduces vacuuming time and an improved edge cleaner meticulously sucks up dirt right along baseboards and furniture. A headlight lights your way along any surface. For those with allergies, the MC-V7572 uses a six-stage HEPA filter, which provides extra assistance in removing irritants and pollutants from the air. Allergens, dust, and dirt are collected in a dirt cup rather than a bag, which removes easily from the hinged lower lid for dirt disposal. The dirt cup’s filter cleans just as easily by clicking the knob to rotate the filter. For the safety of the machine, a motor protector automatically opens to let in cool air when the dirt cup is full or a clog occurs and a thermal protector turns the motor off. This model comes with two wands and two on-board tools—a crevice tool and a dusting brush—which mount neatly onto the machine and attach quickly for use. The hose provides an 10-foot reach when using attachments and a 25-foot retractable power cord allows for cleaning a spacious area before having to replug the upright. Bought this about 6 months ago and based on my previous experience with Panasonic electronic products and the relatively high price I expected at least a decent vacuum. I was wrong. Belt broke after first couple of uses. It is made in Mexico and it shows; upon closer examination one can easily see badly finished components which don't seem to fit well. It took me 15 minutes to fit the handle on the vacuum, which is a metal tube, how is that for a Panasonic product??? This vacuum is also heavy compared to others in its class. Louder than the average new vacuum. Less power than the Eureka I got at WalMart at Christmas for $40. Actualy less of everything compared to that vacuum. And the Eureka is light like a feather compared to the Panasonic. To be honest, I don't know why didn't I ship it back right away. This may have been a decent vacuum 30-40 years ago, but today I would certainly expect better performance. To sum it up, worst vacuum I ever owned. Hope this helps.

Not recommended for anyone who has pets.,

I purchased this vacuum for my daughter for Christmas. She has a golden retriever and this vacuum was recommended by several amazon customers. Based on their positive report I purchased the vacuum thinking our pet-hair problem was solved. The belt broke during the first use. I had it repaired and she used it twice when the belt broke again. If you have pets I would not recommend purchasing this vacuum. I now use it to vacuum the basement and it works okay.

It sucks,

I bought it six month ago, but it is out of order. I only used less than 10 times. Panasonic customer center just informd me the location of the service center, and never responded for my further query on the pickup service etc. Pls don't buy the panasonic vacuumm.You'll regret it
