The item works well. It's too small for larger volumes of material such as 20# as fatigue sets in on the operator. Excellent for making 10 to 15 lb. batches of sausage.

It is such a rear occasion now a days, when the appliance made in Japan.. I trust Panasonic as used their other appliances made in Japan for decades. I confident in this one as well. So far it does a great job in my kitchen. Strongly recommended over any other similar products you may find elsewhere.

Used it a couple times so far but overall impression is good. Well built and powerful. Easy to take apart and wash but metal parts lose their shine in dishwasher, not a big deal.

As one said: I cannot call it a "grinder" since it jams every 10 sec, you have to help the grinder pull the meat out.

You have to make sure there is no fat attached to meat, else it can not grind it and jams.

I am a big fan of Panasonic, but was very disappointed by this product. I cannot call it a "grinder" since it jams every 10 sec, you have to help the grinder pull the meat out. Its also so weak, I ends up have to chop the meat afterward. It took us an hour to grand 7 pounds meat and another half hour to clean it. Well, I returned it and decided not to buy any Panasonic kitchen product, thats not their specialty.

I read many reviews on grinders prior to purchasing this one. The cost of paying for processing a deer is getting exspensive. For summer sausage alone I paid over $80.00 this grinder worked well and was quiet. It was easy to operate and easy to clean. The sausage stuffer attachment works well. It is made in Japan, the quality is better than other choices. I am sure that the more exspensive commercial grinders do a better job. For me who using it for a few deer a year and maybe making my own ground sirloin it is great.

Great meat grinder. Easy setup, break down and it cleans up easily. I use it to make ground pork from hogs I hunt.

This meat grinder is very convenient. We tried other models before and had to return them. I would recommend it as reliable, nice looking and not much expensive.

Not the best but it is more than any average ones on the market. Let meat thou before using it tend to get stuck more with half frozen meat then thou meat.

Mine came smelling of oil. When I cleaned it, it was really dirty especially the grinder plates which were very difficult to clean.
Even though I dried it after washing and wiped salad oil over it as recommended in the instruction manual, the grinder plate started to rust.
I then realised it is not stainless steel, which I assumed it was as it's meant to process food. Didn't even use it since it rusted before I had the chance to.
Really bad product. No more panasonic for me.
