Good product,
This review is from: Panasonic NC-EH30PC 3-Quart Electric Thermo Pot (Kitchen)
Nice and simple pot. Has six hour timer, however, would like to have a longer delay for the day use. Also, when using the timer, it always resets the final temperature to 190 degree. Would be nice if it can "remember" the previous temperature setting. The inner container is coated with floury charcoal, not teflon coating that any other brands offer. It claims to bring out the fine taste of water. To me, at least it looks better than the grey teflon coating. Another feature missing is it does not come with the audible alarm.Extra spec that I would like to know before ordering: Power: 700 Watt Temp setting: 140, 180, 190, 208 No audible alarm for any events. After all, I am happy with the pot for the price and the build quality. Not sure if I would pay extra $30+ for the fancy features Zojirushi brand offers.

I got this thermo pot as a baby shower gift from one of my girlfriends, who is a veteran mom. It's great to have ready hot water with a baby, it's easy to use, the water is always hot. The size is perfect for our use. My Mother-in-law likes it so much we bought it for her as a thank you gift for helping us so much the last few months. It's easy to use, just that there's mineral build-up, have to use the mineral removal pills to clean up the pot once every two months. Other than that, it's reliable, easy to use, I highly recommend it.

I am a tea drinker, so this product is perfect for me. It is very convienient and handy. You can have clean hot water available all day long. At the end of the day, there is white precipitate material in the pot which I have frequently seen with kettle boiling water as well. So daily rinse with water after use is a good idea. If the deposites builds up significantly in the thermos pot, squeez half of a lemon in to the pot full of water and put it through the cleaning cycle gets rid of the deposits nicely. This product is 100 times better than kettle boiling water.

This is our second countertop water heater for teas/soups etc. The insulation in our first one (a zojirushi hand pump) broke down after four years. We really like the automatic dispensing feature and the 6 hour break feature, as well as the fact that it is plain white. An excellent value for those who drink tea as often as we do.

I just got mine today. Comes in a white color not the blue shown, which I like. The cover comes off completely to dry and fill and the hinge is made out of metal not plastic. This unit holds 9 cups of water and takes about 27 minutes to heat up. Need to unlock button to dispense water, a good safety feature. Unit also swivels at base. Nice size and design, but most of all makes hot water quick....looking forward to my teas and hot chocolate!

I've had other hot electric hot water pots and this by far takes the longest to heat up. Otherwise, everything else works well.

This is my second thermo pot. It replaced a non-brand pot. The differences are very noticeable between non-brand name pots and brand name pots:1: This pot is much smaller than non-brand ones of same volume(3.0L). 2. I have not noticed it does reboiling yet, it appears always keeps temperature constant at the setting. My previous one appears to let it gradually cooler and does reboiling once temperature drops too much. 3. Although this pot seems to be cheaply made(very thin looking), insulation appears to be good. Outside is much cooler comparing to my previous pot which looked much thicker(yet had poorer insulation performance). How to check water level? There are zebra stripes inside the level indicator tube. The stripes are lighter and vertical when there is no water covering it. The stripes are darker and horizontal when there is water covering it. I can tell water level from meters away.

Our donated thermo pot in the office wasn't too good and failed when it wouldn't stop boiling. I couldn't find a replacement thermostat and was unhappy with the quality and price of similar products. But the Brits in the office needed their water really hot and plenty of it, on-demand, all day. I searched again and found the Panasonic NC-EH30PC 3-liter thermo pot with its 208-degree holding and "reboil" options. Panasonic products have done well for us, so I took the plunge (not in boiling water, thank you) and the tea connoisseurs are very happy. The only problem is with its success: the pot must not be placed where cabinets above get steamed and swell up. A very practical appliance for the office!

Bought this for my wife to make baby formula with it. It's a great product so far for the price. Most of them is over 100 at local Asian stores. I just wished that I could adjust the temperature on it and the flow of water it spits out. No tax and free shipping definitely helps. Thanks Amazon!

I ordered this in October 2010 and I totally regret it. I initially considered buying the Zojirushi CD-LCC30 Micom 3.0-Liter Electric Dispensing Pot that my parents own. At that time the Zojirushi model cost almost twice as much as this one. Thinking that Panasonic makes high-quality products, I decided to go with this one. BIG MISTAKE!!! This thermo pot takes forever to boil water. Still, it was better than having to boil water with a kettle 10 times a day and therefore I didn't return it. Eight months later, when I unplugged it to clean the buildup, the body plug broke (one of the pins fell off). Since it is still under warranty, I took it to the repair center and was told that it'll take 7-10 days to get it repaired. I was also told that the repair would cost more than the pot if mine were not under warranty. After over 2 weeks I called and was told that they were waiting for a part from Japan; it was back ordered and they didn't know when it'd become available. So I gave up and ordered the Zojirushi model that I should have got the first time. It boils water much faster, has more features, and costs only $40 more than this one now. The same Zojirushi my parents own has been working for over 4 years and it's still going strong. Unless you only expect to use the thermo pot for a few months before trashing it, spend a little more and get a Zojirushi.
