Great Product! No Problems! Avoid the Zoji!,

I would avoid the Zojirushi for the prolems listed below. I've had this Panasonic Thermo Pot a couple of years and use it all the time. It never has had a problem with the lid rusting. The pump is very quiet and Everything on it works great. Would buy again.UPDATE The one the that the other party got and lid is rusting must of been a fluke. I have three different Panasonic thermal pot and have never had a rusting problem. I would avoid the Zojirushi: The electronic pump is very noisy and goes out of order after a couple of years

Iam loving the convience this product has brought me. I make french press coffee with it, so I now get a better cup and fast. My wife after a month has also said she is glad I bought it, she makes coffee and brews her tee for ice tee. I found other brands for more moeny and one for less but the less did not give you three tempature choices that this one has and 208 is the perfect temp for great coffee.

We bought this after using similar ones in Asia, and feel it's one of the best things we ever put on the kitchen counter. It gets used constantly - for hot drinks mostly, but for all kinds of other things like a quick shot of hot water for deglazing a frypan. I like the timer, for energy saving reasons. So far it's worked perfectly. The only problem is that if you try dispensing water immediately after it's boiled, the pump gets air-locked. Too many bubbles in the dispensing tube, and the water nearly trickles to a stop. This problem disappears if you wait a couple of minutes. I suspect it has something to do with our altitude (4500 feet) where water boils at temperatures well below the sea-level 212 degrees. Perhaps the thermostat allows the kettle to over-boil? Overall, I love having this thing.

After researching alot of products to boil my water and keep it hot, I am so glad a I purchased this one. This is such a wonderful product. I purchased it a couple of weeks ago. My family and I drink lots of hot tea throughout the day so this really saves us time having to boil water and keeping some hot for when we want tea. It's also really easy to keep clean and the cleaning cycle on here does good. I use lemon juice to keep my machine clean.

Questionable quality,
This review is from: Panasonic NC-EM30P 3.2-Quart Thermo Pot (Kitchen)
I bought this a little over a month ago as a Christmas present. At first there was an odd odor that only disappeared after several washings. The inner lid is already rusting. A call to Panasonic's cutomer service line had me waiting on hold in excess of 20 minutes for absolutely nothing. After telling one operator the product number I waited and waited to no avail. Called Amazon and they quickly replaced it. The new one lacks the odor. Hope it doesn't rust.UPDATE One month later the replacement pot is already rusting. Will be sending it back ASAP. Perhaps models made when gadget freak bought one were better. Unfortunately this is a product that still should be avoided.

It is good for our daily life. But we have had it only about 3 weeks. So maybe i should comment on it after several months.
