1.0 out of 5 stars Broke 5 months after purchase
I liked this microwave at first, until it suddenly died on me after 5 months. I had to buy a used microwave in order to get by while waiting for warranty repair. I had very similar experience with my previous Panasonic microwave, except it died after about 2 yrs of use.

The symptoms were identical in both cases: the fuse blew right after turning the heat on,...

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Microwave!, January 16, 2006
This review is from: Panasonic NN-T795SF Full-Size 1.6-Cubic-Foot 1,250-Watt Microwave Oven, Stainless (Kitchen)
I just moved into an apartment that does not have a microwave and decided to invest in a good, reliable one. This Panasonic microwave was on the top of my list. It is amazing, heating all types of food evenly without any "cold" spots in the center while the outer-edges are HOT. I know the previous reviewer had a poor experience, but I can only assume that it was isolated. I have not had to deal with Panasonic Customer Service yet since I have not had any abnormal issues, so i can't comment on that. One thing to note is that this microwave does not have a number pad, but a scroll wheel. It is very easy to learn, but you will have to play around with the controls to get use to it. Otherwise, this is a highly recommended microwave. I feel it is also important to note that the sale price ($159.99) on Amazon is the actual list price ($159.95) on Panasonic's website; however, you can use the $25.00 coupon and get free shipping ($134.99).

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Microwave, October 5, 2006

I recently received this microwave and I must say that it is the best one that I have owned to date. The Turbo-Inverter defrost works amazing. The first piece of chicken I tried to defrost cooked ever so slightly around the edges. The instruction manual says you may need to shield the edges with foil, since I have started doing that it defrosts chicken without cooking it...something that I never thought possible.

Ive only used the sensor cook for rice, oatmeal and popcorn. All have come out perfectly.

And to the woman who received a "green" microwave, that is just the plastic scratch-resistant covering that is used during shipping. The microwave is stainless.

After a lightning strike took out our last microwave, we went with this model. Didn't want full size (although it is still 1.6 cu.ft) and the power is high (1250 watts). It is very attractive and quite simple to use. Does a great job on sensor cooking, popcorn (even adjusts to the size bag used) and other uses we have put it through. We are exceptionally pleased with the quality and the price, especially with the $25 off special that was available when purchased.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great microwave, September 17, 2006
This review is from: Panasonic NN-T795SF Full-Size 1.6-Cubic-Foot 1,250-Watt Microwave Oven, Stainless (Kitchen)
Just got one of these and it is wonderful. Easy to use, powerful and looks great.

As to the reviewer saying that it is green, well it isnt. That person is obviously oblivious to the fact that all better stainless appliances are packaged with a greenish-blue plastic film protecting it, which you take off once you take it out of the box.

5.0 out of 5 stars the Cadillac of my kitchen, June 23, 2006
This review is from: Panasonic NN-T795SF Full-Size 1.6-Cubic-Foot 1,250-Watt Microwave Oven, Stainless (Kitchen)
This is my 4th panasonic microwave in the past 30 years and I have to say this one is the cadillac of all microwaves. I'm so impressed with it - appearance, ease of use, perfect cooking every time, etc. I researched the prices of this item all over the internet and Amazon had the best price by far! Thanks Amazon!

5.0 out of 5 stars Very impressed, December 26, 2006

Like the looks of it, it's more low-profile than the taller microwave we had, but is extremely spacious inside. Does a great job of heating from the inside-out. All in all, a great bargain and a great product. Also, fairly easy to learn to operate. Couldn't have asked for more.

Quite satisfied. The selling point was the linear heat control, useful when heating very small amounts. The automatic settings work well for a single person such as I. Lack of a numerical key entry is no problem after a little practise.

This is an excellent microwave. Like the other reviewers said, it even defrosts well. As for the green color, it's just the protective "skin" put on to keep the stainless steel clean. You can pull it off with no problem.

Powerful, accurately calibrated, as user friendly as can be, and it's even aesthetically appealing on the kitchen island.

I liked this microwave at first, until it suddenly died on me after 5 months. I had to buy a used microwave in order to get by while waiting for warranty repair. I had very similar experience with my previous Panasonic microwave, except it died after about 2 yrs of use.

The symptoms were identical in both cases: the fuse blew right after turning the heat on, and replacing the fuse did not help - kept blowing on turning heat power on, so it looked like a short circuit in the tube or in the inverter.
