Product Description

Amazon.com Product Description

Kitchen-ready in white, the PV-C1332W from Panasonic offers VHS recording and playback and the viewing capabilities of a 13-inch TV. Your camcorder or gaming console plugs right into the set's front panel for hassle-free connection, and an earphone jack affords private listening. Commercial skip marks the beginning and end of each commercial break, making it easy to skip the commercials during recorded programs (rolls past three minutes of commercials in about 25 seconds). Index search lets you zip right to predefined index points, and the set's trilingual onscreen display simplifies setup and shows tape status.

In addition, the PV-C1332W has Panasonic's Ready-to-Play feature: as soon as you plug it in, the combo automatically sets its own clock and local TV channels. A 24-hour power backup maintains settings through most power outages.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best of its kind!, June 21, 2002
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Panasonic PV-C1332W 13-Inch TV/VCR Combo , White (Electronics)
I was shopping for a while, trying to determine the ideal TV/VCR combo for our bedroom, and after much looking, I stumbled upon this model by Panasonic, which does that and more. Beside nicely and lightly (32 lbs) integrating a 13" and a 2-head VCR, the combo offers FM (8 memories for your favorite stations) and it can wake you up to TV, Radio or a VHS movie! Since it comes in two colors (white and black) you can pick the one that best suits the place where you will be enjoying it.

To top this, given its price, if you are not in a rush, you can get free shipping for it, which makes it an even better option because of its low price. One warning only: make sure you stick to the recommendation in the box. Don't turn it on the first time unless the antenna you will be using is already plugged: before anything else, it does an auto-tuning, to pick up your local channels.

1.0 out of 5 stars Never Again, September 29, 2002
This review is from: Panasonic PV-C1332W 13-Inch TV/VCR Combo , White (Electronics)
I have purchased 2 of these TV/VCR combo's. The first one lost it's red color intermittently and had to go to the shop 4 different times. The second one, stopped sucking in the tapes. They would go half way in, stop and come back out. It was also in the shop 4 times. The 5th time it stopped working, I gave the TV/VCR away to someone that didn't need the VCR, just the TV.

Yes the TV's were still under warranty but only for the parts. Labor is where the real costs lie. I paid enough in repairs to replace both TV's again. Each time the part cost less than 10 cents. So I've stopped throwing good money after bad.

BTW the only 'authorised' repair place was over a 50 mile round trip.
