The Panasonic PV-C923 is a compact all-in-one TV/VCR combo unit that provides ultimate portability. It's perfect for taking to the cabin or shipping off to a dorm room. You can even use it to entertain the kids while on the road--it's designed for use with a 12V DC automotive power supply (the cigarette lighter power plug) in addition to household current.

The PV-C923 receives standard VHF and UHF broadcast channels and up to 113 cable channels; it comes with a telescopic TV antenna. It has one speaker for mono audio capabilities. The screen measures 9 inches diagonally.

The two-head VCR component is compatible with VHS tapes, and it has a built-in detail enhancer that is used to boost the recorded signal and provide maximum picture quality during playback.

Other features include:

Two sets of line-in audio/video RCA jacks--one on the front, and one on the back.
One set of line-out audio/video RCA jacks on the back of the set.
Two headphone jacks on the front of the unit.
TV sleep timer can be programmed to turn off TV automatically after up to 120 minutes.
The built-in timer allows automatic recording of up to 8 TV programs within 1 month.
The V-Chip function reads the rating of a TV program or movie if the program is encoded with this information; it also allows you to set a restriction level.
