This cable, while cheaply manufactured, meets HDMI standard 1.3a, and is Category 2 which means it can broadcast a 1080p picture. Anything less than this has no guarantee. It DOES make a difference in some circumstances. I got an uncertified HDMI cable only to find partial failure with sparkly out of sync picture, and occassional total failure with no picture at all. That is just unacceptible when you pay what you pay for High Def cable. Then I got this cable (actually I got the grey one), and it resolved all my issues. And it didn't cost an arm and a leg like cables made by those fancy companies. It is cheap, but does the job. Gotta love it.

Don't fall for the Monster-cable hype: this is a much less expensive alternative to their stupidly massive cables, and the SAME (yes, identical) digital signal will arrive at the other end. Brand is Panasonic.

Save your money and buy this one or one like it.

I've been using this cable for a few weeks now, and haven't had a single problem. Don't waste your money on anything more expensive. This cable beats the pants off my Monster component cables in terms of quality - and for a fraction of the cost.

Excellent product, excellent price. Used to pass 1080i/p to my 56" Panasonic dlp. It does so perfectly. Ignore the hype around expensive, so called "high end" cables. They are completely unnecessary.

This cable is the newer version 1.3 and fully meets the same standards as the more expensive Monster line. Don't waste your money.

I am very happy that I got this cable on Amazon at such a great price. If you go to an electronics store, these cables will range from $50-200 (based on the brand). The Panasonic Plasma that I got these cables for suggested only buying panasonic cables. It works great.

I have the ps3 and the new Samsung 58" plasma (wireless connectors). I bought the cheap HDMI cable, and it wouldn't work for every Blue Ray movies I own. For example, "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl" lost signals over and over again. So I went with the Panasonic HDMI cable. And it works like a charm. I set it at 1080p. Highly recommended. I'm buying another for my XBOX 360.

I have this cable and a monster cable and have used them both on my blue-ray and xbox-360 and they both produce identical pictures. The only difference is the price, my monster cable was 80 and this was less than half that including shipping. Don't get tricked into buying a monster cable like I did, this cable is sturdy and does the job.

I bought one of these cables sometime back and it worked great. Bought some more HDMI cable equipment and bought two more of the Panasonic HDMI cables for that equipment. I never looked back. Please belive me, save your money and do NOT buy Monster cables. I had tryed Monster, and took the HDMI cable back for credit and bought these on Amazon.
