5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for the gym
I've killed about 3 pairs of headphones at the gym because I always sweat a lot. I figured my next pair should be made for working out. I found these and was a little shocked at the low price, I thought they might be cheap and suffer the same fate as my previous headphones, but I was wrong. These headphones are awesome! 3.0 out of 5 stars Good sound but too big
Got these to replace my iPod earbuds, which have gone all staticky with sweat. I'm not an audiophile necessarily, but these have perfectly adequate sound which I'm quite happy with. Only problem is that the frames are too big- I'm a 5'8" woman, and no dainty maid- and the buds do not fit comfortably in my ears. To be fair, though, no buds have ever really fit...

I always get an excellent loud sound no matter how much I sweat. Plus the over the ear design keeps them from slipping off while running or doing any cardio activity. Before buying these headphone one concern I had was that the cord might be too short, I'm 6'3" and I needed a cord that would be long enough to allow me to leave my mp3 player in my pocket while wearing the headphones and these did the job and still have some slack to spare. One last note: if you want to run outdoors and wear sunglasses, the over the ear design of these headphone will interfere with the sunglasses. If you're looking to use headphones while wearing sunglasses, I recommend looking elsewhere.

for 16 bucks you wont find a better deal. i looked around for a while for good sports headphones for walking the dog and running. these headphones work great even for small ears and they sound and are more comfortable than my original ipod headphones

To be fair, though, no buds have ever really fit comfortably in my ears, they might just be queer-shaped. I think these are really built for men, and big men at that.

I used the earphones throughout a rainy marathon (Honolulu) without discomfort and they are still working great. They fit my ears nicely and the soft "hook" should form to most ears well. The cord is average length, which is fine if your device is around your hip, but too long if you wear it on an armband.

I will throw these out as soon as I can buy another pair of earphones. They are way to big for me and keep falling off my ears. If you are a smaller-framed person you might have the same issue.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best headphones for the price, February 10, 2011

As far as a $16 pair of sports headphones go, these can't be beat. I sweat a lot when I run, and these are probably the only pair I've had that don't cut out. The design is incredibly comfortable, they never fall out or move during my runs, and the sound quality is pretty decent too, I haven't done an A/B comparison but, I think it's a bit better than the standard white iPod/phone headphones.

I should've listened to the other reviews. These earphones are huge and I would not recommend for those with small or medium sized ears. Also, you can't adjust them at all. I bought a sony pair that have provide different sizes and those fit perfectly. I have small-medium ears.

Sound quality is above average for the quite cheap price point.

However. I have average (to slightly above average?) ears, and these are laughably huge. Like... were my ears 20% bigger, these would still be too large. I would caution any of you against buying these online unless you've tried these on previously.

These constantly fall out, and are unusable. There's not really a remedy. Be wary.

You can not go wrong with this one, if you use for jogging, biking or in gyms.
Earhooks will keep earphones stay at all time, soud quality is O.K.

2.0 out of 5 stars good sound but poor construction, August 16, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I bought these headphones about four months ago for running and working out. The sound quality is good for the price: better than the earbuds that come with your ipod, but not as good as some high end products.

Maybe I got a defective product, but within a few days I heard occasional static when I adjusted the wire near the plug. I was able to wiggle the wire and make the static go away. Four months later, the sound died in the left earphone. I don't really feel like dealing with customer service over such a cheap product, but I wish that I could find a pair of sport headphones that would last for awhile. Cheaply made products like this are unsustainable for the planet.
