For only 20 dollars including the shipping you cant really beat it. Great sound, powerful, cord on one side, wide frequency response, they stay on your head unlike earbuds which pop out too much for me, they keep your ears warm in the winter... they are kinda bulky but they're great at home and comfortable enough. They also DO work with people who wear glasses (there is no ear pinching)
**update- I have had these for a year now and with more and more use they become more "broken in" and it seems that the bass and treble have improved even more. They have held up fine, and comparing these to other headphones they are still the clearest sounding and most balanced ones I have found in this price range. I would buy these again as long as they did not jump up more in price. I did get sick of the two "thin bars" on top as others have said- they aren't horribly uncomfortable but turned out to become annoying. So i modified the headband and mounted the cushioning from another pair of junk headphones I had laying around, and now they are extremely comfortable for hours of listening.

Really Good,

These cans are amazing for the price, better audio quality than the Sony XD200 and I'm only 15 hours in (my audiophile friend says I shouldn't judge until I "burn them in" for 100 hours but screw him).
Here is what I think of them compared to all the other cans I've owned: Sony MDR-XD100: way better than the XD100 Sony MDR-XD200: slightly better sound Sony MDR-XD300: I'm sure after 90 hours these HT360 will sound just as good as the XD300 and they don't cost 40 bucks because of the Sony brand Sennheiser HD-280: even though the sen's are better I prefer these HT360's and the XD300 because the sen's have too much bass and make everything sound too "professional" or "studio like". A lot of people might like that but I prefer to hear songs how they were recorded and when watching TV shows like Family Guy it sounds like you're in a theater or something. BTW the XD300's have a bass switch you can turn on or leave off so they're great for everyone. Anyway, these Panasonic RP-HT360 are the best cans you'll find at this price range and I highly recommend them. I like them so much I'm going to order another pair.

I ordered it from one of the Amazon used-markets, and I'm so happy with this nice headphones. When it was delivered, I opened the box (of course, it is new one.), and I plugged the headphone-jack to my mini headphones amp. When I wore this headphones, it was extremely comfortable. It fully covered my ears, and it was also very light to wear this headphones. I tried a couple of classical music (Bach's Violin Sonata, Beethovan's Symphony 4&7, 9, Chopin's piano music, nocturne, and more), and I was so impressed by its sound. In case of violin solo, this headphones very sensitively catches wide range of frequency. The high pitch sound of violin solo fits very well to the headphones, and the sound is very clear and sharp. When I listen to the Symphony 9 of Beethoven, every bit of the frequency (high and low) are also very clear and crispy. This headphones was only about 23 dollars including shipping, but I was so impressed by its quality of sound. My only complain is it's cable. The headphones has pretty long cable, and I have to handle this cable very carefully. I hope the cable is not very long. I had to tide this cable with zip ties because it was really long. Other than that, it was perfect headphones for me.

Exactly what my son wanted,

My son never had much success with the iPod in-ear buds. He did some research on different over the ear headphones and found these as a potential purchase. I went ahead & bought them for him for Christmas and he was excited. The price was decent but the quality far surpassed what I paid for them. Cancels out most outside noises so he is more than satisfied.

I am writing this review because someone said these sound much better than the Sony MDR-V150 headphones. I have used the MDR-V150s for years, and I decided to compare both side by side.
Bass. The Panasonic RP-HT360 definitely has more bass impact than the Sony MDR-V150 does. Treble. The Sony MDR-V150 sounds clearer and more precise. The Panasonic sounds higher, but it also sounds somewhat tinny. They probably just need some break-in time. Midrange. The Panasonic, in my opinion, has better high midrange but has worse low midrange than the Sony. Comfort. The Panasonic wins hands-down. The Sony has a tendency to eat into your ear, and they feel really uncomfortable after an hour or two. The Panasonic is also more efficient than the Sony, and it can handle more power. Overall, I think it just comes down to personal taste. The Sony MDR-V150 is more well-balanced and better for studio use. The Panasonic RP-HT360 sounds more dynamic in some areas but less in others, and will work for any average user. For $20-$25, you can't go wrong with either.

I knew that I hadn't selected stellar audiophile-quality headphones, but , based upon the reviews of those before me, I ordered these with somewhat high expectations. The RP-HT360's do not dissappoint. After unpacking them, I plugged them into my tuner and clicked it on to find "The Low ri der" playing (a pleasant little well-separated sound field), and worked my way down the radio dial over a half hour's time. I'm using them on streaming radio now ( DO "mice and men get second tries" ?) Through rock, pop, classical, and talk, the sound is strong and even; crisp and defined through it's full range at normal to high volume. Some EQ play is in order at very low power. I don't know what that might mean for potential MP3 users - if I used one, I'd try it to let you know, but that may be something for some to consider.
I have a large enough head to be known as "Horsehead" to some of my more humorous co-workers, and I find these headphones to remain quite comfortable after several hours use. The earpieces are not the biggest, so , if anyone is in the habit of referring to you as "Dumbo", you may want to look elsewhere. The cord is neither here nor there - 10' long, and thin. Much more than needed for computer use, and too short to reach my favorite seat from the entertainment center. That's my only negative, at this point. Unless you really need to spend 10x as much to get the next 2% of sound quality, get these and use the money you save to get another toy. Maybe for your significant other, so you don't wish for the noise-cancelling headphones.

These headphones look good, sound amazing and fit very comfortably.
I wear glasses, and these headphones cause very little discomfort after hours of use. These headphones also cancel out noise very well. I've used Sony headphones and they fail in comparison. I pity the fool who don't choose Panasonic.

I ordered these headsets for my mom who is very hard of hearing. The ear piece is very comfortable and she can wear them right on top of her hearing aids. The sound quality is good and they had good volume. She got to enjoy some movies she would otherwise have missed. Because I didn't know if she could wear headphones I didn't want to spend a lot of money to try it out. I figured if she could get used to them I would buy an expensive pair later with better sound quality. I didn't have to, these worked great. I was surprised how much she enjoyed them. They are a good "sound" investment.

outstanding value, only negative is the headband,

This is an outstanding value headphone for only $25. You can't beat that. It's a large studio monitor headphone that encloses the ears. The sound is excellent--balanced and clear. My only issue regarding the sound is that the highest freqs are a tad excessive for my taste, but that is trivial to fix with a slight EQ adjustment (a lot easier to fix than other freqs).
Comfort wise, ear cups are well padded and comfortable. However, the headband is very uncomfortable because it is two hard, thin plastic bands. And only 1/2 inch portion of one of the plastic bands will be supporting all the weight. So there's a lot of pressure on a small part on top of the head... very distracting.

I had an old pair of sony mdr-v150s which broke and I was deciding between these and another pair or sony headphones. I gambled on these and regret it completely. The bass on it is loud, but the sound quality is decent but kind of cheap and empty. Also they have horrible isolation, I can hear everything around me loud and clear, and everyone around me can hear everything I'm listening to. The only pro I can think of is that they're more comfortable compared to the sony mdr-v150s. For the price they are just OK, I would recommend mdr-v150s as they are cheaper and have a much richer sound.
Pros: -comfortable -loud bass Cons: -whatevers sound quality -cheap materials -no isolation |
