Panasonic RP-HV21 Headphones Ear Bud BEST VALUE!,

This review is from: Panasonic RP-HV21-K In-Ear Earbud Heaphones with Built-in Clip (Black) (Electronics)
I've been through many earbuds, both cheap and expensive and the Panasonic RP-HV21 blows them all out of the water. They are very comfortable, even for long periods of time. They have very good sound quality. The built-in clips are a nice feature also. I clip them to my shirt when they are not in use to avoid tangle. Recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a good quality ear bud headphones for an inexpensive price. Thank You Panasonic!

Good ear phones for the price. Little lacking on the bass response. Slightly uncomfortable if worn for long periods of time. Cord gets tangled easily

Simply put, with this headphone, you get what you pay for. They are pretty cheap ($5-6) so I wasn't expecting a lot out of them. I use earbuds mainly for the gym, and these are just your average run of the mill, get anywhere, ear buds. Instead, I would recommend the Sony MDR-ED12LPs. They are a little more costly ($9-10) but do the job perfectly. They don't fall out, noise-isolating, etc.

I bought these to replace some Sansa earbuds which were starting to flake-out at the connection.
The Sansa earbuds are pretty highly rated, and these sound noticeably better. I compared them to some recent Apple iPod earbuds, and they also sound better than those (but don't have the mic and other functions). They have a pretty balanced sound with good but not great bass. They fit very comfortably and securely. I did not mind that these did not have foam pads, and they seemed to breathe better. They have an odd/extra feature in that they can be pinched to either clip together or clip onto something like clothing. In all, these exceeded my expectations. Hopefully, they will prove durable, but I cannot complain about the price. In case you were wondering, the connector is an angled one. Also, the Amazon picture is not very accurate. They are not hot pink in color, but more of a ruby red. The description says Red. There is a separate version which is a pastel pink.

I tend to buy a lot of headphones. they get tangled in things, fall out of my ears a lot, or are just plain uncomfortable. I wore a pair of sure E2cs for a while and I loved them but somebody stole them and I am reluctant to purchase another pair at $100.
I purchased these Panasonic earbuds and was very impressed. they are comfortable even for long weating periods. the sound is very good quality for listening to audiobooks and radio and the cord isn't annoylingly long. the little clips surprised me the most. I never thought I would use them, but I do constantly. I work in a lab and I will often remove one earbud or both and it is very convenient to clip them onto my lab coat for tangle-free safekeeping. I wish they had in-line volume control, but I am not complaining at this price point. They are great for the $$.

They're not like other ear buds in the sense that they have a small clip on the back of the ear buds. It enables you to clip them to clothing and helps them from getting tangled as much as other ear buds tend to. It does NOT interfear with the listening experience or comfort. On the other hand though, if you wear them for too long, they start to hurt your ears because they're so hard and not as squishy as other ear buds. They do seem to have better sound than most other ear buds that I've owned, and have equal sound coming out of each side, so you can listen with one ear bud in and one out. Just so you know, they do NOT exactly match the blue color of the second generation iPod nano or the third generation. Though it comes pretty close for the second generation. They do look pretty strange...

These are lovely and pink of course, but if you have smaller sized ears like me they will not stay in properly. Let me give you an example....my white earplugs belonging to my Ipod fit me exactly, but these are too large due to the pink, rubber that covers the ear bud.

These headphones are excellent! They are loud and the sound quality rivals those that cost well over $20. They are also comfortable to wear. These are open-air phones and the volume is still very loud even with them kind of hanging loose.

Just got these for my wife who needed a quick pair for a trip out west...and I know this may be the last time I see them. Anyway, they are going for $6 at TJ Maxx right now and damn -- I'm going to get a couple more pairs. Far from high end but so what. Also, they are not like my daughters Skull Candies which is ridiculous with the bass -- the bass here is great and on the iPod I can set it to extended bass -- when I want to. Listening to old school Santana right now and the sound is very clear across the board -- no obvious distortion on rattling. Finally, they seems to be a good blend between the typical smaller hard plastic types and the suction cup types - fairly snug without totally cutting out the sounds around me. |
