I was looking to buy the Energizer replacement for our Panasonic KX-TGA242W cordless phone which wasn't holding a charge anymore. After reading those reviews, I decided to go with the OEM Panasonic HHR-P105 battery simply because we've had these phones for approximately 3 years or more and just now the Panasonic battery in one phone has died! That's pretty good quality as far as batteries go.

The only problem was that I needed an HHR-P105 battery, and all I could find on here was HHR-P105A. I decided to take a chance, because they appeared to be the same battery on the packaging. Also, after looking around, this battery price was substantially less than going to Radio Shack or Best Buy, and they don't have Panasonic brand either. When it arrived, I charged it a full 24 hours and good as new! The phone works like new again. Here's hoping to another 3 years plus of regular use before we have to order again!

My ID on my cordless phone went blank, so I figured it was probably the battery. I couldn't buy one in the town I live in, so I got on Amazon.com & ordered this one & it was here in 5 days. I put it in my phone & the ID showed up immediately, but it had to charge for 24 hours before I could use it. Once it charged, I haven't had any trouble with my phone & now I know who is calling me again.

Got these replacement batteries for our 2 cordless Panasonic kx-tga246w phones and they work great.

The old battery to our phone that it came with lasted over 4 years! We finally had to replace it and we are already seeing signs that this battery is going out! It has not even been a year yet!!!

UPDATE - A YEAR AFTER PURCHASE:

Not only is this "new" battery not lasting near as long... but also our phone has not worked right since we got it. I finally broke downs and called customer support for my phone and after 20 minutes of trouble shooting we figured out... the battery is causing all of the problems.

Now to even view our caller ID screen we have to remove the battery and put it back in... works for a short while and then we have to do it again.

FYI - the problems with the phone only occur when the battery charge is one bar on our phone. Battery works fine when it is fully charged...although after just one year we can't keep the phone charged because the battery is giving out already!

NOT BUYING BATTERY HERE AGAIN! WILL ORDER DIRECT FROM PANASONIC!

We had a 5 year-old Wireless Panasonic Phone. I noticed that the battery gets easily drained even though it has never been removed from the charger that long. I was actually looking for HHR-P105 but couldn't find any in Amazon. So I stumbled to this item and saw a review that it would actually work as a replacement to an HHR-P105 battery. I've been using it for 3 weeks now and so far no problems! I almost bought the non-Panasonic replacement batteries which are $2-$3 cheaper but I think I made a right decision to stick with Panasonic batteries as I had tested it and they could last fo 5 years. I'll update my review several years from now to let you know if it could stand the test of time just like my original batteries did.

The original Panasonic battery in my phones lasted over five years so when I needed replacements I went with the same product that serviced me so well. Best value for the money

Arrived on time. Just a battery, but genuine Panasonic instead of generic from who knows where.

My phone's charger no longer works, so I have two perfectly good Panasonic 2.4V replacement cordless telephone batteries (HHR-P105A). I'll send the original and the brand new one I just bought here on Amazon for free to the first person who contacts me at goodwatson@hotmail.com. I do not want to throw them away and would like somebody to put them to good use. I've just ordered a new Siemens cordless from Amazon, so they are no longer of use to me.

It fit my panasonic handset flawlessly, and has been holding out ok for so long a time now.

Product works great. I shopped at numerous supercenters & even looked at Panasonic's website. This price is way less than all of those places who were charging around $20 for a battery. I definitely recommend buying this!
