Take it on the road, take it on the run: Panasonic's SL-SX270A portable CD player was designed to withstand heat an jostling, offering 40-second backup memory that kicks in whenever normal playback is interrupted. The result: your music continues to play as if nothing happened.
With just two AA batteries (not included), the SL-SX270A will provide up to 28 hours of playback time, slightly less when not using the antiskip protection. This feature is not only economical, but also , since it reduces battery consumption. Alternatively, you may power the player using the supplied 4.5V AC/DC adapter.
Other conveniences include a hold switch (which negates state changes during transport or listening), playback of recordable CD-R and CD-RW discs, 24-track programming, random play, repeat play (one track or an entire disc), resume, and XBS (Extra Bass System) to give your music added low-end heft. And, thanks to the player's heat-resistant polycarbonate body, you can use it outdoors with only minimal fear of damage.
