It features a 640 x 480-pixel resolution, switchable aspect ratio between 4:3 (standard) and 16:9 (widescreen), and an integrated pedestal.

This set has a fast 16 miilisecond response time, which is suitable for fast-motion electronic-game display. The 3D digital comb filter helps reduce video noise by comparing each horizontal scanning line with the lines above and below and with the corresponding line on the previous subsequent video frames. It features a 450:1 contrast ratio with a 450 cd/m2 (candela per square meter) brightness rating, and a viewing angle of 160 degrees.

The TC-14LA2has two built-in 3-watt speakers (for 6 watts of total power) and features the following video and audio connections:

We have had our set in our kitchen for 2 years. The reception quality is excellent and the sound is amazing given its small size. Too bad it is discontinued. Gets very high marks in my book.
