This is our first HDTV, so we did a lot of research of the different HD TV's, and chose the PANASONIC TC-P46G15 mainly because of the superb reviews it had received. The Plasma was an excellent choice for us, and we are thrilled with the picture quality. We visited a lot of stores and looked at a lot of sets, and none were as good as the PANASONIC. Some have criticized the sound quality, but we are a little old fashioned, and as musicians, we expect the sound we hear to come directly from the source, and not from around us, so we are quite satisfied. The TV was simple to set up, and easy to operate - I only called for Technical assistance once! We would highly recommend it to anyone.

Great picture with plenty of customized settings for your viewing preferences.
Very easy setup and plug and play. Formatting picture from remote is easy and convenient, turns 4x3 into 16x9 with zoom format. Sound quality on movies is just OK, really needs 5.1 home theatre system to enjoy the full range of sound. 46" HDTV is great for 8 to 12 ft. viewing distance, no need for anything larger in standard room size. THX picture quality is outstanding. |
