I bought a digital audio converter (about $40) from AMAZON, then ran an optical cable to it, and then RCA cable from the converter to my accessory system.

If you're going for an outdoor TV, I'd go with a SunBrite TV. They are waterproof and are better outdoors, although they are expensive. This TV will be okay outdoors, but to get the optimal viewing experience I highly reccomend you use this TV indoors in a dimly lit room.
