if you want to mount this tv on a table, you need this pedestal stand. extremely well made by competent engineers. i bought this stand for the 2007 65 inch panasonic (TH-65PZ750U) and then the new 2008 panasonic (TH-65PZ85OU) came out ,and i was afraid it wasn't going to fit the new tv, but it does. it's a must have.

This stand is perfect for this model TV...it is light, but centers the weight of the TV just perfectly. Definitely recommend.

I purchased a Panasonic 65" Plasma screen TV online and the seller said it had a stand, when it was delivered it did not have a stand. I ask the seller to furnish it but they said it did not come with one, but since they had told me it had one they would give me a discount from their regular price of %750.00 to to $470.00. I told them to go ahead and send it to me. So right after I told them that, I went online to Amazon.com to see what they had for this stand, and I was shocked to see that one of their companies had it for $50.00, so I immediately order it and called the other store to cancel the order.

This is the real panasonic TV stand, no gimmicks. I could not believe that this was not a "to good to be true" deal, because panasonic was pricing this stand for $900.00 so how could it be bought for $50.00. I did it, so if you need a stand for their large TV's this is really the real thing. It does every thing it is suppose to do.
