Unsure of the highest. I live at 7000' and have not had any problems. My understanding is the previous altitude issues with plasmas has all but been eliminated.

The user's manual lists only 120V 60Hz as acceptable power input, not 240V 50Hz, so there seems to be a fundamental power incompatibility. Also the EU broadcasts a different frame rate and uses PAL and SECAM standards (or has used in the past). See http://forums.pcworld.com/index.php?/topic/85590-hdtv-compatibility-europe-usa/ where the best advice seems to be sell / move / buy.
