Wow! I didn't realize there were so many types of pancakes! This book has recipes ranging from your ordinary buttermilk pancakes, whole wheat pancakes, and oatmeal pancakes to more exotic sweet potato pancakes and gingerbread pancakes. Best of all, they are all delicious. There are also pancakes from around the world- several variety of crepes, aebleskiver, dutch babies as well as flavored syrups that are quick and easy to make.

I found this book at the library while the children were at story-time. I love to try new recipies and thought I could spice up breakfast a bit. WOW! This book has so many good recipies we may be having pancakes for every meal! Book includes basic and not so basic pancake recipies, including dry mixes to make in bulk ahead of time (great for this busy mom). Also included are flavored syup and toppings. I am hungry already. For the more adventursome- there are meat and vegetable types. But our favorite so far are the dessert pancakes, complete with chocolate and whipped creame. Pictures are great too.
