Instant Classic!!!, September 12, 2010
If you are a Spin Doctors fan, don't miss this album. If you like well-written music with a touch of originality, don't miss this album.
Chris Barron is very talented, no matter what he creates and this first solo album is a charmer. His delivery and phrasing is on par with the best, in my opinion. I finally saw the Spin Doctors at the Santa Cruz beach boardwalk show (which was a dream!) this summer and they are as good as ever. The band signed items and talked with fans. Just down to earth, creative people. Chris mentioned that he has a 2nd solo album coming soon, but I cannot find any mention of it online yet. I will certainly get it as soon as it's available, as well as new Spin Dr. stuff. Chris said he is well-past his vocal problems so they should be good-to-go.
