This review is from: Pancreatic Cytopathology (Essentials in Cytopathology) (Paperback)
A must for trainees and attendings in a service where you come across EUS-FNAs. The book is not bulky and easy to read. Well organized and good representative pictures. I think our FNA cart had this one and the 1st edition of the thyroid one next to the other supplies. As a resident and a fellow, I found this very useful and helpful especially by having something to read if we had been paged too early. Even though more senior people sward by DeMay and baby DeMay I found those two books prehistoric and of little practical value (other than some minutiae that came up on boards). Using this Essentials and Cibas' Cytopathology (plus our attendings' teaching) really helped me during my cytopath fellowship and by the end I was really confident and the endoscopists would rely on my preliminary assessments that were eventually confirmed by my attending.
