Seems to work fine (5 months use), but it is loaded with pop ups asking you every few hours to renew long before it expires and there is no way to turn off the opo ups - and Panda consumer service will not deal with this issue...

This is a good single application program to cover several security problems. It is fairly simple to install and set up but the set up and opitions portion of the program can be confusing if you have never used their product before. It should be automatic from screen to screen until you are finished. If you don't know what you are doing and have never used this program the set up can be confusing.

As soon as I installed Panda 2010, my computer slowed down. Their office hours are Monday-Friday 0800 to 1700 Eastern time. They don't have to work weekends. There's a star off, right there.
A few months ago, I did a full scan using it, but things still weren't up to par, so on a friend's recommendation, I tried the free service offered at Malwarebytes dot com. A basic scan found 9 infected items that Panda missed.
Around the same time, I started getting popups and emails about the fact that my Panda 2010 subscription was going to expire.....Guess what, Panda? I uninstalled your &^%$#*@ing software, and spend more money for less obtrusive, less memory-hogging software. BTW, re: memory- Panda 225MB....McAfee 165MB

Overall the product is okay. During the first year of use it did let the same virus attack two different computers using Panda. It could not remove it and both times it was necessary to use SuperAntivirus free addition, in safe mode to remove it. To it's credit, it did catch spyware a couple of times.

The worst part is the popups. There is a setting to stop them, but it does nothing. The popups were annoying at first, renewal reminders every few days or so, but now it is every ten minutes. There is no way I have found to disable it.

I would recommend the software if you get a great price, but only if the computer does not receive heavy use.

Well all I can say is that after using Symantec Endpoint for about 4 years I started the switch to Panda in 2008 due to heavy overhead and the fact that my daughter and me compared notes and the only time we have ever gotten a virus was while Symantec was running. After a TON of reading and talking to people I got this because it updates itself almost invisible it usually does not even let you download a infected file (Symantec would let me download one then try to prevent me from opening it, not 100% effective). I should note that it does such an excellent job of preventing you from getting a bad file on your machine that any scheduled scans are redundant which is good since that is the only place it seems to get confused, but I just do a manual full scan about once every week or 2 and it have NEVER caught anything so the barrier it presetns to any virus must be effective, this also includes malware and tracking cookies. I started having problems with Facebook apps with my last 2 machines that had Symantec running and so I now have 6 licenses for this and I am VERY pleased. I can tell you that Amazon is cheaper than renewing through Panda (that is so weird) so I guess I will buy it from them next year if that continues. Bottom line: this is the best overall AV software I can find at any price that does not kill my machines performance. I have several variations of XP and Vista machines (no 64 bit so I can't address that) and it works great and is very aggressive (which I like). Highly recommend for anyone, it really gets 4 1/2 stars because one day somebody is going to REALLY develop an AV software that is user friendly to wives and daughters and DOES catch 100% of everything. This is the closest I can get today.

I bought this to replace AVG. I'd read it was an excellent antivirus program... better then AVG. This may be true but here is the problem I have despite this being a clean install of Windows 7.

I did download the version of Panda from their website that was created for Windows 7.

1. It did not cleanly finish installing the program. When I rebooted, it would no longer go into windows. I had to solve this by going into safe mode, uninstalling Panda, and trying again.

2. After I finally did get it to work, I had a few days later installed another program. It somehow again caused problems with Panda and again I couldn't get into windows. It just hung forever and rebooted. I had to go into safe mode again and remove panda.

This happened enough that I paid $10 to upgrade my PC Doctor Spyware tools to the version including antivirus protection.

I did give this 3 stars as it is working fine on my husbands Windows 7 machine. I was simply tired of the frustrations.

*** Edit, I have changed this review to 1 star since pretty soon after this review it also failed on my husband's machine. We both moved to the PC Doctor Spyware Tools with Antivirus. I wouldn't bother with this software period.

Always, enjoy using Panda Antivirus software, fast and easy to install and does not slow your browsing or internet down like some can bog you down especially when it is scanning, I use this software on a 2.2 and 3.2 ghz computer and am very happy with the performance of this antivirus protection, has added feature such as spyware blocker, have had many other antiviruses they don't compare to the ease and use and protection of Panda Antivirus.

I bought this after switching to Panda from Norton last year. One feature I really like is it updates itself everytime you go on the internet. I read reviews of it from Pc magazine. Pc says it catches more viruses than Norton so that was another reason I purchased it. I haven't had any problems and found it to be a great value especially with the 3 user so it can be loaded into 3 different computers. Will definetly purchase it again next year.

I have used Panda Anti-virus for 5 years now and have not had a single virus - and beyond that have not had to fight my anti-virus program. I had one minor issue this year so I Panda e-mailed tech support and they responded with the correct solution within the day. I couldn't ask for more. My advice is go for the previous year's version (last year's from when you are buying - not the newest Panda) and save the money as you will get the same updates (both for the anti-virus engine and the viruses) for much less $$$. As a long time user the program does not change a great deal year to year other than cosmetically - so save the money. In addition I will add that I would always spend the few extra dollars for the 3 PC option as it will allow you to install it on 2 additional computers other than your own - a very nice feature to have...

Although this product is licensed for three computers, Panda USA refuses to let me activate it on my second PC. Their explanation? Since PAV Pro 2012 is "available for download", I cannot activate the 2010 version!? Needless to say, this is illegal, and a bald attempt to force a sale of a higher-priced product! Don't want to believe it? - I have their email telling me exactly what I have related to you here!
Now, as far as their product is concerned: the initial scan told me that a file that has been on my computer for several years was a virus, and quarantined same - WRONG. The link to their so-called "customer service" didn't work (told me that "I wasn't online" even though I was), and the initial response I got from Panda after emailing them directly from Hotmail was merely a link to their FAQ section on their website!
Right now, activation reminder popups are appearing every couple of minutes on my screen, even though they have refused to allow me to do so after three attempts and two installations. I will be deleting this dreck from my computer within the hour, and the new copy of Norton Antivirus I purchased will replace it - forever.
Save your money and stay away from these crooks!
