Really slows the computer down. Had to remove the product and reinstall in order to reset the options to not have auto update. It had locked up the computer completely. I now have to manually download updates because otherwise it ties up my computer as soon as I turn it on in order to update.
There needs to be an option so that the update takes place after 5 minutes or so to allow time for the other programs to get up and running first.
Never had this trouble with Bit Defender!

this is the worst service i ever got from a company. i have a virus on my computer that infected my computer during my one year of coverage. i repoerted the problem to panda toll free tech line on september 18th. i was told at the time it would be 24-48 hours for a level two tech to get back with me also that they could not give me a time other than to say it would be between 8 am - 6pm m-f. after 72 hour again i contacted them they informed me that they are backed up that i would be geting a call soon. to make a long story short after like 6 calls to there toll free tech support and two emails to the corparet office i still have never heard from a level two teck or even a level one tech. here we are now october 20th over a month later. panda still ahs not called me or even atempted to take care of the issue.
SO FEEL THAT PANDA INTERNET SECURITY GIVES EMPTY PROMISES AND IS A TOTAL FALSE SENCE OF SECURTY. ITS BAD ENOUGH THAT THERE PERTECTION WAS NOT ABEL TO BLOCK THE VIRUS BEFOR IT ATACKED. BUT THEN TO LEAVE ME IN THIS POSITION AFTER THE FACT. IT WOULD APEAR AT THIS POINT I WILL NEED TO PAY SOME ONE TO FIX MY COMPUTER. I THOUGHT THAT WAS WHY I PAID FOR INTERNET SECURITY?

I had been a Panda user for years without a problem. When I bought a new computer this year, I promptly purchased and installed this software. Unfortunately, the hard drive on my new computer failed within a month. The manufacturer replaced the hard drive under warranty and I tried to re-install the Panda software. It would not activate no matter what I tried. I sent an email to Panda's tech support. After a few days of not getting a response, I sent another. It has now been 6 months and I never received a response. I installed another vendor's software and have been computing in safety without problem ever since. If you buy this, I hope you have better luck than I had!
