Most of the songs are built around Andy Lansangan's army of pianos, organs, keyboards 7 acid-soaked vintage synths. An intoxicating hybrid of Slint's emotional claustrophobia & the grandly flamboyant cabaret of David Bowie's ' Low. A quietly grand album full of surprises & hidden corridors.

PP is not without its moments of dramatic indie pretensions, but all in all it is a curiously satisfying disc which puts pianistic flights of fancy over guitar histrionics for unique, if not entirely compelling results.

awesome CD. hard to describe. the music is kind of progressive rock but not in a desperate way. a little like amnesiac and hail to the thief Radiohead. no electronic drums though. but those kinds of chord progressions. very interesting songs. very good songs. very smooth production but in a different way than i've heard before. warm. this is the first time i've heard 90 day men so i don't know how to compare it to their other CD's but it made me buy two of their other Cd's.

90 Day Men have produced a beautiful and original album here that is a brew of melody, dissonance and an orchestral complexity. BTW, it also rocks! This is a great album. Do yourself a favor and get it.
