The model number of my item differs slightly from what is here - possibly because I purchased it at a warehouse club - but appears to be the same specifications. With a coupon, I paid ~ 30% less than the price listed here.

I read a number of Amazon reviews on Pandigital products before purchasing and decided to proceed because the bulk of the negative reviews seemed to be a couple of years old and the newer ones were more positive.

I've had it less than a week but, so far, it has met all of my needs for ease of use, quality, color, etc. I have so far used a USB stick (all photos on the stick) and an SD card (selected images only) to load pictures onto the frame and both went very smoothly. I intend later today to load more photos and MP3s from an external hard drive via the mini USB jack but based on my experiences so far do not anticipate any issues. Deleting the pre-loaded images was easy, changing the mat was easy, learning the interface was easy (though I did use the manual). The wood frame feels and looks high quality and looks beautiful with my living room furniture.

The only reasons I have not given this produce a "5" are: 1) I haven't yet been able to figure out how to remove the recipes - I would prefer to use this portion of internal memory for additional pictures and 2) I haven't been able to discern yet how to make permanent my edits to the portion of a zoomed photo that is viewed. Of course, I can fix that problem by making the edits on my computer before importing.

In a perfect world, I'd like to see the ability to monitor how much of the internal memory is being used (as you can do on your computer, for example).

I would recommend this product to friends and would not hesitate to purchase additional products of this brand.

I bought this for as a Christmas present for my in-laws and loaded a bunch of pictures onto it from my computer in a labeled file. I had hope that Mom would be able to load other pictures as separate files and be able to choose a slide show easily to view. However it doesn't work that way and it is disturbing and rather dumb.

My FIL passed away last year and we did a picture memorial to be loaded onto this frame, but we couldn't get it to play the memorial pictures and not the older file pictures that were in the frames memory. I have tried several different things and every time I attempt to play just the one file ALL pictures play on a slide show. I even tried "selecting" individual pictures per the instructions and it still played everything. The only way to play just the memorial album is to deleted all other pictures on the frame. This is not way I bought this album so I am vastly dissappointed,

However, the quality of the pictures displayed is quite nice, to bad a bit more (easily programed) software wasn't included in the package.

- Leaves finger prints on glass ( not finger print free as they advertised)
- Need to buy an adapter from pan digital to enable wifi.
- My piece has a 2 cm line of dead pixels
- Original stand does not work. You should attach the plastic stand given by them

We purchased three of the Pandigital 8" Pantouch frames as Christmas gifts. Two of the frames worked beautifully but the third one kept crashing and deleting all of the pictures. I contacted their Customer Service 800 number twice they took down my information and never gave me a call back. I have also sent two e-mails and have received no response. I have been waiting four weeks!! Bottom line I will never purchase a Pandigital product again.

The frame is great... easy to use, no problems downloading pictures, has cool segues between pictures during slide show, the larger frame on the 8inch pictures really gives the perception of enlarging the picture and makes a nice display for a living room setting, sharp colors and very clear picture, does not crop or distort the pictures, automatically fits the pictures perfectly, controls very user friendly, some nice "extras".


My question to anyone who has this and my only complaint... there are "squares" on the picture, hard to describe, large digital looking clear squares on the glass. They don't alter the picture, and not real easy to see especially from a distance, but they are noticable. Does anyone else who has this frame also have these squares or do I have a defective frame??

I purchased the Pantouch digital picture frame as a gift for my sister (who is not very tech savvy). We travel quiet a bit and I take lots of photos. I decided to upload our travel photos (which I have on my MAC in Iphoto) into the Pantouch before giving it to her. I soon realized that the Pandigital picture frame was not compatible with a MAC (not true). It is better suited for a PC (Windows). I contacted Pandigital customer support and they confirmed that the USB cable (provided) would not be useful to transfer photos from iphoto (on my MAC) to the Pantouch. They said I could only upload the photos into the Pantouch if they were still on the memory card, which they weren't. I was disappointed, but I knew there must be a way to get around this minor technicality. There is! If you are a MAC user, don't be discouraged from purchasing the Pandigital Pantouch. It is a great digital frame and you will enjoy it immensely. It is very simple to transfer photos, videos and mp3s. All you have to do is transfer the photos, videos or mp3's from your MAC to a memory card/stick or thumb drive (flash drive). Once the items are on a memory card or thumb/flash drive, you can upload them to your Pantouch digital frame. You can organize them in separate folders, program the frame to display/play at certain times of day, etc. It is very easy to use. My sister (who is not tech savvy) learned how to use it easily and quickly. She loves it! She has it on all the time and enjoys it very much. She also likes the calendar feature and the (preloaded) recipes from Bon Apettit. If you like displaying your photos, videos and playing your favorite tunes, you will love Pandigital Pantouch. I'm going to purchase one for myself as well.

Gave this to my husband for his birthday. He loves it and gets lots of compliments on it. He loaded tons of photos and music. The music will play while you are watching a slide show. You can even set a timer so it goes off or comes on when you want it to. You can even load recipes on it and view them while cooking. The touch screen is very cool.

Don't buy this. This is junk. Amazon and their seller Factory Depot won't accept a return after 30 days. After spending weeks and several phone calls to Pandigital trying to get it to display my photos, I am now (on Aug 29) told that any photos that have been edited (for example, to remove red-eye)need to be reformatted by opening with Paint and re-saving. This would require untold hours to perform: since you can't tell an unedited photo from an edited photo, this means every single photo would have to be reformatted. Unfortunately Pandigital didn't tell me this until today, well past the 30-day return period has expired. Amazon was no help.
Shame on Pandigital and shame on Amazon. Wal-mart knows better than to treat their customers like this.

I received this Pandigital frame as a gift for Christmas and contrary to what other reviews say about picture quality, I could not get past the checker board grid going across my pictures. Originally I thought the problem was unique to my frame but as I was switching out my paper mat (the frame comes with three), I noticed the grid was not on the LCD but on the glass itself so I am guessing that the checker board grid has something to do with Pandigital's touchscreen technology. I also did not like using the touchscreen because my fingerprints got all over the glass (contrary to their fingerprint proof claim). One last thing I need to gripe about is their Wi-Fi capability - what's the point? Why would I buy an external router to download photos directly onto the frame? It sounds ten times more complicated than just inserting your memory card to begin with. I asked my sister to help me return this product and am in search for a new digital photo frame. Stay tuned, the search continues.

We got this for a gift and worked great fro 2 years. It finally died and I can't get anyone on the 1800 number, and they are only available through the contact us website, which is worthless because no-one ever calls you back. You call the main no from google and they just take messages and still, no call back. Is this for real? who runs a company this way? Now, 3 weeks later, it still doesn't work and I can't even speak to anyone about it! Horrible. Buy it if you want something temporary.
