I bought TWO pens, making it a 16 panel area for our 70 lb. pooch. We had to stabilize the pen on three large pieces of wood paneling for the floor so that she wouldn't dig underneath. We put a tarp over the top to provide shade and a green carpeting material on top of the wood so she'd be comfortable. It works well, but the doorway is a little skinny, ok for a dog, but a person has to go in occasionally to change food and water, etc. A single GoGo pen wouldn't have been enough room for our dog, but two is just fine. It's a good pen and works well for our needs when we're trailering.

This x-pens are GREAT! They are perfect for travelers and even great to use at home. We bought 2 of the 8 panel pens for our 3 whippets to use in RV. They fold flat and have a carry handle. The pin is geniuos for connecting 2 or more pens together. You can configure the shape to fit many different sized areas which is very handy in RV parks. We also bought the 4x4 cover but we haven't used that a lot. The cover will only work if you have it set up in a 4x4. With 2 connected we have done a covered 4x4 area that flares out into an octagon. It worked fine. With 2 pens connected you can't really do a long/narrow run as it isn't real stable. We have found it mmost stable in a large octagon. One of our whippets had to have orthopedic surgery on her knee which required 8 weeks of keeping her down. We put one in the living room & one in the bedroom & it was our saving grace in her recovery. I don't know how we gone so long without these. We are condidering adding another for our next trip. They are great & priced well at amazon compared to pet supply chains!

We bought this pen last year to contain our bulldog after two cruciate ligament replacements. We filled it with lots of padding, sheep skins, food and water bowls, and kept it in our living room so that she could be with the rest of the family. It was such a big hit that it has become a permanent part of the decor and both our dogs use it to nap in or just to chill out. Love it!

I was using several other GoGo x-pens for my Aussie pups. They are wonderful but I have a hard time hunching over to crawl through the door since I'm very tall. I then realized that GoGo pens come with a walk-thru option so I ordered one. It is DA BOMB. Like the other pens, it's very nice quality (esp when you consider the extremely reasonable price). I love the black finish, the wire is strong, the door latch is secure and logically made, and I also love that it can be disconnected and reattached with other pens or, as I'm using it, used straight line across a room to cut the room in half (with a little ingenuity, it's easy to find ways to stabilize it straightline). As for the reviewer complaining about the doorway being narrow, s/he needs to realize that it's all about stability. A wide doorway would make the pen much less stable and put undue stress on the bottom threshold. I don't find the doorway too narrow to walk through at all and absolutely LOVE that I don't have to hunch over.

I give the GoGo pens an A+ in all aspects.

PEN CAME FAST AND WAS IN PERFECT SHAPE. CAME WITH STAKES FOR OUTSIDE USE. I USE IT OUTSIDE AND NO RUST AFTER 2 BIG RAINS.

The product indicates you can easily remove the pin to attach a crate. However, unscrewing the pin was not easy at all as the bolt wouldn't come off. I had to saw off the bolt. Also, if you are planning on attaching a crate keep in mind the crate is shorter than the pen so there is an open gap which your dog can escape from. I used some extra panels to cover the gap. I really like the walk thru feature; it makes cleaning the pen much more convenient.

I purchased this product for use in the yard. It was heavy, hard to manage, hard to set-up and the area was so small it was too confining for a 25lb dog.

I bought the product through digipets. The product came with no set-up or use instructions. There was no information included with the shipment as to how to return the item. Repeated emails and phone calls to the company were unsuccessful and when I finally found the information in a remote area of the company website, it was just in time to make their 14-day return policy window. I had to again email repeatedly, with frustration, to get the company to confirm receipt of the return and reimbursement of my funds. I would never buy anything from this company again.

If you are thinking about purchasing one of these dog pens online and have never seen one I would encourage you to wait until you have the opportunity to view one in person. Packing and returning the item after it came was not convenient. I am from a small rural area that would require some distance travel to get to a petstore large enough to carry something like this, but in retrospect, with the money I spent on shipping, it would have been cheaper.

My whole experience was 1. a waste of money, and 2. stressful regarding the return.
