I had some reservations when I ordered these since the picture makes them look kind of stiff and plastic or something. But they are actually nice and soft and the design is not unattractive. However, I was ordering these for a bathroom window, and the lace mesh is VERY open and see through. At night, when the lights are on in the bathroom it does not provide adequate coverage.
Also, the way it threads through the curtain rod is quite fragile. There are little slits at the top and you weave the rod in and out of them. Not a very "finished" look, and it is too bad they didn't put the slits down a half inch or so. As it is, there are about two threads above the slit, and anyone who pulled on the curtain would certainly be at risk of ripping the slit right through. However, I have not had to worry about that because no one has pulled the curtain aside because you can see right through it! I am actually buying another set for the same window. I am going to try putting all four panels on the one rod and I think that will decrease visibility through the curtain. They would be perfect for a front door or kitchen windows where you are looking for less privacy. Certainly, the price is right, and Amazon delivered them like lightning to my door. UPDATE: I ordered two more, with the idea that I would put all four on the same rod and hope that when they were bunched up, that privacy would be increased. When the new set came, I was utterly shocked to see that they were more than three inches longer than the first set. It is so crazy, because the lace pattern is the same, there are just about 20 more rows of the plain criss cross on the new set. Wow. Anyway, I took the first set off and re-threaded them onto the rod with the shorter set under the longer. It looks a little bit stupid, but it does make it more private, and for what I paid for these curtains, I am not sure I have the energy to return/etc. Anyway, they are still nice for the price, but if you are doing more than one window, beware! They might come in all different lengths.

Funny thing. I actually ordered THESE for my LIVING ROOM thinking they were longer than they actually were. I didn't properly read the description so I thought they were full length curtains. They're AWESOME but not full length. They're the kind that go on kitchen and bathroom windows, not full sized windows. So, I put them in the bathrooms and kitchen today and I LOVE them!

Received today and really thought what a wonderful purchase...but NO! after wrestling up the first pair 56x30 and enjoying the idea of a good purchase opened the next exactly marked package and started the same process but what do you know INCHES shorter (56x28)! So angry right now I could 'spit'. How does quality control miss this error in the lineup????

I bought 2 pair of these, and 1 pair was unusable out of the box. There were no 2 holes missing from the top for hanging. Also there is very little threading at the top of the rod holes, and the edges are already a bit frayed, which makes me sure they will not last me the year. I guess you get what you pay for.
