Great Book, for the subject matter,
This review is from: Panini (Hardcover)
The previous reviewer obviously didn't read the description portion about this book. It is the perfect size for it's subject matter. Regardless, I have two of Carlo Middione's books, and consider them to be encyclopedias of Italian cooking. While this book may not be as regal as Mr. Middione's previous efforts, this book does offer the pedestrian panini the chance to shine in the resurgence of street food in American cuisine. Mr. Middione always offers great insight in to the historical and sociological significance of the foods of Italy, and that is certainly not lost here. A great book, full of simple to create, yet delicious combinations you will return to.

Misleading,

This review is from: Panini (Hardcover)
Description on this recipe book is very misleading. They mislead you by listing it as a hardback and it is, it's just a small 5" x 5" SMALL little booklet. In addition there are very few pictures, which may sound stupid but that makes in my opinion a very good cookbook. Very disappointed, and I was so excited to get it.
