I've had this phone since April 2011 and I really like it. I wanted a touch screen that wasn't a smartphone and that's exactly what the Pantech Crux is. The battery is good (I can go about 1.5-2 days without charging. In this day of smart phones that have to be charged every night/throughout the day, I view this as a good thing). It has a music player that is OK, but I don't like how you can't edit a playlist after you create it. The response time when you select something is a little slow, but everything works. The texting is frustrating sometimes because it CAN be inaccurate, but THIS IS NOT A SMARTPHONE, so what were you expecting?

If you have patience and don't care about having a smartphone, this phone is good. I actually destroyed my first Pantech Crux on a treadmill and requested that it be replaced by the same phone--that's how much I like it.

I bought a used version of this phone for my girlfriend as a replacement for a similar phone that was on it's last leg.(It was given to her used) The condition is great, no screen scratch's or imperfections anywhere to be seen. Anywho, she is in love with this phone, the dealer we bought it from was great, it was packaged rather well. Everything was secure and not flopping around in the box etc. If you want a cool touch phone experience, this is it. It's not a smart phone either, so you dont have to worry about any data plan's etc. Overall its a rather nice phone, very easy to use and setup etc. It's not too large either which is very nice now a day's considering smart phones are like huge. Lol.

this is the second of these phones. first one got wet. texting, especially in T9 takes time for the phone to know how you talk, lots of drop down menus to choose your word from. that gets annoying but the more you text ...the less they pop up. For those out there who don't want to use a smart phone yet...this is the next best thing. I have noticed among Crux users that they are all a little different...some slide really easy, while others are slightly stiff. I don't mind the stiff sliding ones because then it doesn't accidently slide up and call someone or start randomly start playing your music. we've had ours for two years and more and have not upgraded yet. no rush.

This is actually not to bad of a little phone. My fiance needed a new phone we got him this one and he likes it. The way the screen moves down for locking the phone is really handy, definitely a recommended phone.

This phone is the most awful phone that I have ever owned. The touch needs to be calibrated. The battery life is awful. I have had the phone since Christmas of 2011 and I have had to charge it everyday. It's awful, don't waste you time with it.

I got this phone from Verizon about two years ago. I hate putting up with this phone, it feels like a chore to have it rather than a privilege. I read the reviews on Verizon's website and on amazon, I saw that this phone had some really nasty reviews about how the touch screen and camera do not hardly work; I just brushed it off and thought "maybe it's just old people who cant work a touch phone and it wont happen to me" I was so wrong. When I got the phone I was super excited because I had just switched from the LG enV3 and I finally had a touch screen phone. I thought it might have been just me when the screen was sort of inaccurate, but it wasnt just me. The screen messes up a lot and just regularly it is very inaccurate. Next, the missed calls feature on the phone doesnt allow you to see your recent or missed calls because the phone cuts off every single time you try to look at the calls. The music buttons are on the top of the phone which I thought would be a cool feature quickly backfired, I have gotten my phone taken away in school so many times because my jeans pressed the buttons and music played loudly. The camera doesnt have a zoom feature and it gives all the pictures a bad photoshoped look.
I WAS NOT SMART ENOUGH TO LISTEN TO THE BAD REVIEWS PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT GET THIS PHONE. IM BEGGING YOU. I WOULDNT WISH THIS PHONE ON MY WORST ENEMY, AND THATS NOT AN EXAGGERATION.
