As a natural brunette who likes to add a little red color/tint to her hair, this is the best shampoo I have found for prolonging the life of your color treatment. I can't tell you how many times I've purchased specially formulated shampoo and conditioner from the salon (at 2-3 times the price) which is supposed to keep your hair color vibrant and lasting, only to be sorely disappointed in the outcome. Usually my red highlights or overall glaze don't even last until my next hair appointment 4 to 6 weeks later. I've even had it fade to orange or worse within a week! I found this shampoo on accident and started using it immediately after my last color treatment, and when I returned to the salon at 6 weeks, my hair dresser was surprised to see I didn't need another color application! My hair color is still fresh and vibrant and not brassy or dull at all. I LOVE this shampoo (and conditioner). The only problem is that I cannot find it ANYWHERE in my town. Everyone carries the Pantene Pro-V Expressions line in brunette and blonde, but no one has the red anymore. Guess I'll have to purchase it here because it is worth it!

Great shampoo for the redheads out there. My wife is starting to go grey and this shampoo makes her hair much shinier and clearer. She loves it and I do too.
