Pantene has abandoned loyal customers of this product without apology nor replacement. I loved this shampoo yet all we are left with is the Jhirmack one which is too drying for my hair.
Thankfully we have another alternative. John Freida makes a product in its Sheer Blonde line called Color Renew Tone Restructuring. Come in both shampoo and conditioner and gives us the softness of the old Pantene and all the benefits of its purple toner base.. smells awesome also.
Sad that Pantene abandons it loyal customers but happy John Freida picked up the market here.

A couple of years ago, I decided to let my hair go gray (although, I prefer to call it "silver"). One of the things I wanted to avoid was the coarseness and yellowing that often occurs with gray hair, especially because I have kept my hair long. I found a couple of products at the beauty supply store which worked fairly well, but, they were really expensive and required a special trip. One day, I happened upon the Pantene shampoo and conditioner for gray hair at a drugstore and decided to give them a try. The fragrance of the shampoo isn't as nice as the more expensive versions, but, I can live without the pretty smell as long as it works! I liked the softness that the conditioner gave my hair. My hair is shiny and has not yellowed at all. To my chagrin, when I went to buy it again, it was not in stock anywhere! I decided to check on Amazon and I was thrilled to find that they did stock both the shampoo and conditioner! Thank you, thank you, thank you! BTW, my husband's hair is white and these products have kept his hair looking great as well. If you have decided to "go natural," this is an excellent product to use!

Just a sad note to all users of Pantene Silver Expressions: When I could no longer find these products in my local stores, I called Pantene directly and was told they would no longer be producing them. I have been looking for alternatives but, so far, haven't found any that I feel work as well.

Has anyone else found a satisfactory replacement?

I love this shampoo. It's not available in stores in my area and the online source is quick and convenient.

i really like this product no more yellow in my hair . will be back to order this product . and the 3 pack is a great savings .

This shampoo is wonderful and I was so disappointed to see it discontinued.
Now, it's COMING BACK! I was told that the reintroduced product began shipping
on January 23, 2012, although you may have to ask the purchaing manager at your
favorite store when they'll be stocking it again. Yay!

The folks that make Pantene have discontinued Silver Expressions Daily Color Enhancing Shampoo for Gray to Silver Shades. I loved this shampoo and have used it for years. I will now have to find a subsitute. I am sorry Pantene Silver Expressions is no longer available.

Excellent product. Pantene Shampoo and conditioner for gray hair are both excellent produtcts. I have used both for years and nothing else is acceptable!
