Good Music. Very poor DVD design, December 25, 1999
This review is from: Pantera: 3 Vulgar Videos from Hell (DVD)
I'm a big fan of Pantera so I find the music on this DVD to be great. I don't care much for all the behind the scenes stuff on the disk (which is probably 70% of the content) but I can get past that.
The biggest problem with this DVD is the design. What they did was take the three Pantera VHS tapes and put each on a seperate track on the DVD. That's it, 3 tracks. Which means you cannot just jump to your favorite song or section of the DVD because it's not divided. The best thing you could do is find the time elapsed for your favorite section and write that down on the DVD case and then jump to that time.
Why use DVD and not use the features of DVD?
UPDATE: Evidently there's a new version where they've fixed the chapter problems. I wonder if Amazon would accept a return 11 years later? :)

The DVD from the Kings, July 24, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Pantera: 3 Vulgar Videos from Hell (DVD)
Well, what can I say? This is what every Pantera fan could ever want. All 3 videos, 4 hours of total Pantera. Cowboys from Hell: The Videos- The shortest, but 60% of it is all music. Awesome live performance of "The Art of Shredding" and "Heresy" Vulgar Video- 1 hour long, the FUNNIEST of all 3. Expect to crack up on most parts. It has live clips of "Domination" and "Primal Concrete Sledge" Watch It Go- 2 full hours of Pantera. Covers footage from 1994 to 1996, but there are no live songs here. - A real Pantera fan shouldn't be without this DVD. Hail Pantera, the Kings of all that is Metal.

Pantera strengh in one DVD, August 20, 2006
This DVD maybe is not unknow to Pantera fans. It reunites all 3 home video releases from the Texas band (Cowboys From Hell - The Video; Pantera - Vulgar Video and 3). This was also released in the past, and this re-issue was made available just after Dime's tragedy. The difference between the older and the new versions is that the the new version has chpater stops and 5.1 sound.
Technically this DVD is very good, the sound is clean, although that's not much room for the 5.1 mix. The image is very good on the video clips and live footage, and is grainy on the amateur footage, as expected.
The content of the DVD is nearly perfect. All Pantera's videos, live footage from Russian Monsters of Rock, interviews, behind the stage footage and more.
Highly recommended to metal fans.
