Beyonce does not perform on this CD. This soundtrack is good and sounds good but the song performed by Beyonce in the movie and sounded so great is not on this CD. The rest of the CD is good and the Pink Panther Theme is up to standard.

I wish I had read the other reviews before purchasing this CD. The main reason I purchased it was for Beyonce's "A Woman Like Me", and it's not on it! Can anyone tell me where I can find this song by her? I've checked her CD's and don't find it on any of them. This CD, without Beyonce, is okay, but I'm very disappointed.

This CD contains the whole score penned/arranged by Christophe Beck for the 2006 Pink Panther movie, featuring Steve Martin, Beyonce Knowles, Kevin Kline and Jean Reno. For movie score lovers, it's an absolute must: Beck wrote excellent background and foreground music, that fits nicely in the movie, adapting the original Pink Panther Theme by Henry Mancini where appropriate ("Paris Bound" is a good rendition).
However, buyers beware: this is a Christophe Beck movie sountrack album. There is no Beyonce (as pointed out before), and the first piece of music playing over end titles, known as the Malibu Remix of the Pink Panther Theme, is not by Beck, so you won't find it here - Pink Panther Penthouse Party being, to my knowledge, the only album containing it. Still, if you love the Pink Panther theme and atmosphere, this soundtrack CD is unmissable.

This soundtrack is a bit of a surprise. The music on this CD sounds much better than what I remember from the film. You get a good dose of the Pink Panther Theme along with a great deal of the background music. Track 2: "Perfect Day for a Murder" is very good and sounds fantastic. Christophe Beck handles the Pink Panther Theme both with traditional flavor and with innovative updated variations as needed. This CD is a good addition to the previous Pink Panther Soundtracks.
