A friend gave me this hat and I use the light ALL the time. Drop your keys? No problem! Just click the switch and you've got an oval of light to find them with. Don't expect to cut 100s of feet through the fog, but you could easily find your way out of the woods if you got caught out after dark.

But $137?!?! No way! You can find this item for $27 ($20 in non-camo...now there's someone making money on royalties!) at the Panter Vision site.

Bought two of these for my uncle and my nephew who are both avid hunters. These hands-free hats make finding the tree stand in the dark much easier. They loved them!

Having the light so handy is great. You'll use it for things you never even thought of. I bought mine for $15., but now they're out of stock. Don't pay over $25 max.

I was very pleased with this hat - nice camo and the lights are very bright. They are $24.95 at Eddie Bauer, so I thought the price was right (by two get free shipping). These may be on my Christmas giving list this year...

Panther vision does what it says. It's really helpful for camping and other stuff at night and I prefer it to a headlamp. Its inconspicuous (until you turn it on) and thus less dorky. Plus it provides shade.

I ordered this item (2 LED lights) and recieved an almmost identical hat but with 3 LED lights (more expensive). Unfortunately, 2 of the 3 LED lights had very poor (low) lighting. I contacted the seller who then sent me 4 new batteries, which fixed the problem. So, I ended up with a better hat than the one that I ordered.

My hat arrived quickly, however separately from the tertiary items ordered. No problem. I found the 120 lumen output to be utterly fantastic from 2 tiny led lights in the brim; I tested this by using my 120 lumen flashlight, finding both equal in output!
The issues? D.O.A BATTERIES ON ARRIVAL=REPLACEMENT COST $10.99 OUT OF POCKET.

Other than these 2 issues, the hat has "tremendous" defensive attributes. When worn normally, anyone you simply "look at" will be temporarily blinded by the dual output. This can come in quite handy if you are in need of help in a fight or flight situation.

I found another Realtree light in a local store & equally priced, with a different configuration of the lighting system, and it claims 30 hours runtime. That may be more accurate as that Realtree hat has a system to run 1, 2, or all 5 lights. Mine does not have a "down button" to drop to 1 led from 2. Wish it did. That may make the 15 hour claim more realistic. The cost to wear is expensive, but the blinding output is more than worth the cost. Just stock up on those model 2032 lithium batteries, and enjoy the night!
