Essential color guide for use in 4 color design work. Use it all the time to select colors for design work.

Great tool for all types of businesses. If you need a specific color this is a must. We found out the hard way you cannot just send a computer image to get the color you want.

If you need it for work, this is the one you want. Keep in box if not being used, scratches a little easy and fades over time...

If you're already familiar with Pantone formula guides, then not much is needed for a review of them. Basically, these guides are what you would expect from a Pantone guide. If you're not familiar with Pantone's guide, they are basically swatch samples of Pantone's color books, which help you achieve an exact color match when it comes time to send a design to print.

While I'm sure plenty of people will scoff at the price, these guides are basically a must-have if you're going to be doing any print design for clients. Relatively speaking, the Amazon price for these is a great deal. They take the guesswork out of color selection, especially if you have clients who try to insist on a color based on who it appears on their computer display (which will often result in a disappointed client when the final product comes back from the printer).

Best price I could find on a brand new, unused set of PMS coated and uncoated guides.

Por estas y muchas otras razones el Pantone Formula Guide es y seguirá siendo la herramienta por excelencia de los profesionales en Diseño visual, Publicidad, Artes Gráficas y diseño textil (he conocido casos hasta de artistas plásticos que recurren a él), gracias a su facilidad de consulta, compatibilidad con los programas de diseño digital más usados y respaldo técnico-profesional, eso sin contar que, y ese es un nuevo descubrimiento, año tras año incorporan nuevos elementos que disminuyen paulatinamente las diferencias entre los perfiles de visualización y los de impresión. Quien iba a imaginarse que esas dos paletas iban a cambiarnos la forma de hacer el trabajo!
