I purchased this cabinet to fit a specific space in the kitchen of the house we are renting. For that purpose, the measurements of the cabinet were nearly perfect. I'd like to point out, though, that the cabinet is 100% particle board, not wood as it states in the official description. Also, the "butcher block finish top" is just colored laminate like the rest of the cabinet. The backing is a heavy-duty cardboard, and only the exposed edges of any part are finished with laminate. That said, it seems fairly sturdy and of decent quality. I was disappointed that the door face arrived with some scratches, albeit subtle ones, and a chip off of the white laminate. With an item so heavy, though, who's going to return it? This piece must be fully assembled, which I was able to do mostly on my own at 40+ weeks pregnant in about 1 hour. I needed my husband's help tightening a few screws, turning the unit over (it is quite heavy), and attaching the door. In the final analysis, I'm generally happy with it, as it meets a very specific need for us (as stated above). If I didn't need something just this size, I'm not sure I would feel quite as positive, though.

I purchased this cabinet to replace a four-shelf, metal open unit. It arrived earlier than anticipated. Very sturdy box for shipping; nicely reinforced at the edges. The unit assembly was quick, and all parts were included (even a few extra screws and nails!). I found some damage to a few of the edges, perhaps from the packaging process. But not enough to warrant returning it. One of the shelves has a permanent location; the other two have some adjustment options. I was disappointed that the unit itself wobbled when moving it from the living room (where we assembled it) to the kitchen (where we're using it). But now that it's in place, it is quite functional. The shelves are significantly less deep than the frame. Overall, it's not as good a buy as a Sauder item would be (the other source for our self-assembled furniture), but still a pretty nice value for the price.

I was worried when I first saw this put together because it seemed smaller than I'd anticipated. It turns out that this little cabinet holds more than enough to make up for the small amount of space it takes up! I especially like that tall items fit easily on both the top and bottom shelves. It is sturdy and assembled easily. The shipment arrived earlier than scheduled, but the corner of the door was damaged and many of the hardware pieces (brackets, etc.) were broken. The company sent replacements immediately, but the replacement door is in even worse condition than the original. It is frustrating that we have to call for yet another one.

I bought this item last year and we just love it. It holds alot of food items since we do not have alot of storage where we live. I also own the utility cart that my microwave is on top of and just love that item as well. I has a nice drawer that can hold anything you want to keep hidden to end the clutter you might have in your kitchen. I am going to purchase another piece soon for Christmas the hutch seems very nice will have to see where we can place that.

It assembled easily, although I highly recomend using a power scewdirver. Not a very solid cabinet, a bit too flimsey for my taste. But it serves a purpose.

I was looking for a storage cabinet to hold some of the stuff that won't fit in my kitchen cabinets, and also hold the microwave on the top. It's just barely big enough for the microwave but I'm not complaining. It seems well made and sturdy.

I was pleasantly surprised at the appearance and storage space of this cabinet. Was not hard to put together and did so in a short period of time. The only reason I did not rate it a 5 was because of the partical board instead of solid wood. I will get the buffet to match at a later date.

This is a great addition to my space challenged kitchen! It holds a lot of food. I am happy with it.

This item was delivered yesterday; my husband put it together with ease in about 1 hour. It looks great and for the money it can't be beat. I was very surprised at the amount of storage actually inside. I have my food processor on a shelf, along with some smaller items; cereal boxes on another shelf; snack foods and still have room for a few more things. I plan to purchase the buffet that matches this item in the near future.

This is not the right picture for this item. I have ordered twice because this is the one I wanted and both times I have been sent the wrong one. This style with the bead board door is no longer available. The first one I kept because they issued me a 10% discount, but the second one I refused shipment on. Come on Amazon please get you adds right!!
