This review is from: Panzer 1: Beginning of a Dynsasty (AFV Collection) (Paperback)
Great book, Infomation covers all the existing variants. There are pictures and captions of the different variants along with a great detailed explanation. It also contains color drawings of all the variants mentioned in the book, These color drawings have great detail. This book is a must for both Panzer I Modelers and Historians. I am glad I bought this book

5.0 out of 5 stars Puts Osprey to humiliating shame!, March 26, 2008
This review is from: Panzer 1: Beginning of a Dynsasty (AFV Collection) (Paperback)
I bought this book with a gamble because it was sealed in wrap at the store. I couldn't have made a better choice for a book on the Panzer I.

The book includes well over enough profile color illustrations to outrank any comparable Osprey edition on the same subject. In fact at least one illustration (usually many more) for each type, variant and conversion of the Panzer I. To the best of my knowledge each variant is included.

It contained many photos I had not seen before of the Panzer I. There are even photos of the Panzer I Ausf C and Ausf D.

The technical information is pretty thorough and includes allot of information concerning the tanks use during the Spanish Civil War (probably because the book was written and published in Spain.)

The only thing that would have made this book better woulc have been a black and white schematic-like 5 profile illustration and more photos of the interior including interiors of the variants. For example, what exactly did this table set-up look like in the command variant?
