Filled with samples of destruction, lightning fast guitars, drumming boardering on the chaotic, and simple yet enjoyable lyrics, move over last flight of the valkries Marduk are the champions of music for war! This is everything a black metal maniac could wish for. Pros are that is is fast, heavy, and extreme. The only cons that come to mind is that it is somewhat simplistic, and as mentioned before Marduk stands a hair's width from becoming noise!

I have been a fan of extreme/black metal for more than 15 years now and I just want to say that this is one of the first releases that actually made me sit back and take a breath. It is not their best (Nightwing was amazing) but it is nice that with this release you can just sit back and enjoy the boot to the face that this provides. Morgan shows again that he can write some of the most extreme, hateful, over the top music out there. If you do not have this yet....GET IT NOW!!!!!

This album could seriously inspire someone to storm the Vatican in a tank. There has never been anything faster or more brutal than this. The drumming is simply anti-aircraft fire with cymbals. If Hell is playing music, this cd is spinning 24-7.

Unrelenting, joyously fast, indescribably elating in it's complete hatred of Christianity. This album takes you to warf and makes you quite delightful to participate in it. Yes, Emperor's Equilibrium was damn good, but this just smokes pretty much every black metal album out that year. Fantastic. Get it.

This band is Awezome i just got this album ..and i one word is chaos this is great black metal album the drummer is not of this earth!

In comparison to Marduk's previously recording, "Nightwing", it appears to me that the follow-up "Panzer Division..." falls short of the predecessor's greatness. Granted, "Panzer Division..." is composed of consistently faster music, it doesn't achieve the inhumanly fierce brutality and blatantly infernal atmospheres exhibited on "Nightwing". The reason can be largely attributed to a moderate alteration in thier riff structures which, in turn yield a more contemporary aura, while on earlier recordings, Marduk compositions tended to utilize noticeably more dark medieval and gloriously grim structures. With all that said, "Panzer Division.." is worth one's attention, especially if ferocious speed floats your black metal boat. However, this recording is inferior & shorter than their finest and substantially more satanic output, "Nightwing".

Ok, this cd is one of the fastest, heaviest, and most brutal recordings I've ever heard. It's got all the satanic/anti-christ lyrics, and fast riffs any true black metal fan could want. Dimmu Borgir is also a good black metal band, but if you want some real underground and evil music, without all the pretty melodic sequences and majestic sounds, get MARDUK. If you are new to black metal, get Dimmu, but if you want the real thing and can handle cruel, blasphemous music, get Marduk.

Having read some preprss about the bands goals for this album; I can honestly say they have achieved and surpass their goal. It is a violent, ugly, brutal listening experience. Loved all thirty mins. of it. Not for the faint-hearted.

Marduk have outdone themselves. The music is a step-up from Nightwing. Panzer Division is blasting, raging, unrelenting and hateful BM that never slows down. Everytime I listen to this, it makes me go and smash something, It's awesome! Every song is damn perfect and does not get boring. They pulled it off quite nicely and everything fits together damn well. The war intros only add chaos to the lighting inferno. Killer and one of the best black metal albums, no doubt. Hail Marduk!

By now everyone should know what to expect of a Marduk album. If you want melodic symphonic black metal you have to look elsewhere. Marduk is all about speed, aggression and pure hate ! Featuring one of the world best and fastest drummers Marduk is uncompromising in terms of speed. Personally, I love it ! The only thing that lets me down a little is the length of the album. It falls short of 31 minutes...
