An oldie but a goodie,

Those of us who were avid wargamers back in 1977 and readers of the great old mag, Wargamer's Digest will recall the Squadron advertisements for a variety of paperback photo histories. One of these was Panzer-Grenadier Division "Grossdeutschland". Back in those days it was a $6.00 book and worth evey penny. The pictures and narrative were pretty much all about GD and were "the" source book for those of us eager to learn more about this fabled Wehrmacht division.
It certainly isn't the best or most comprehensive, but really, what GD library would be complete without it? This is the book that got it all started.
