This book is basically a pictorial history of the Panther as a battle tank, there is not much text, just a few introduction paragraphs, then the rest of the information is in the caption of the pictures. The pictures are mostly never before published or rarely published. The book only covers the Panther as a battle tank with the Ausf. D, Ausf. A, and Ausf. G versions covered. There is no pictures or information on other versions such as the Jagdpanther or Bergepanther. The book also has a detailed production table for the Ausf. D, Ausf A. and Ausf G versions listing the manufacturer, production run, and numbers produced. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in this area.
