5.0 out of 5 stars SHUT UP REVIEW, December 11, 2002

BRITNEY (northbergen, nj USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Papa Don't Preach (Audio CD)
Kelly osbourne has proven her self again. "Shut up" is a loud edgy kind of style of music that screams fun. The beats were awsome her voice was fantastic but most of all the lyrics were straight to the point. What i loved the most was that she just said it like it was she didn't have to fuss around with the music to make is "pretty" or "innocent." she definitly rocks hard.kelly is a perfect role model for people because she inspires people to be who you are and to speak your mind.Plus she looks cute and modern while kicking butt!she doesn't fit those stereo typs!

4.0 out of 5 stars Way better than Madonna's version, September 7, 2002
By
This review is from: Papa Don't Preach (Audio CD)
Kelly Osbourne's version of "Papa Don't Preach" is way better than Madonna's original version. Kelly has a stronger voice, and the song is faster-paced, rather than slow and rhythmic. Recommended for those who enjoy today's music.

5.0 out of 5 stars Thank you Kelly!, August 12, 2002
This review is from: Papa Don't Preach (Audio CD)
when you hear Kelly osbourne, you know where she comes from. such talent so young, she's a lucky girl. Her version of "papa don't preach" is full of energy and you just have to listen to it once to feel good for the rest of the day. And it's really nice to have the video and the making of on the cd. Many artists should follow the steps of Kelly. She rocks!

5.0 out of 5 stars Talent does run in the family, June 13, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Papa Don't Preach (Audio CD)
Little miss Kelly Osbourne released this single last summer . At first , her sister (Aimee Osbourne who chose not to be on the show) was meant to do a cover of Madonna's " Papa Don't Preach" which would be one of the tracks on "The Osbournes" TV show soundtrack . Ofcourse , Aimee didn't want anything to do with the family at all when in public so they chose Kelly to do it . Kelly got some studio time to record "Papa Don't Preach" as the popular band "Incubus" played the instruments . Kelly at first thought it was horrible and thought it wouldn't be a big hit or anything . But the people down at "Epic Records" thought differently . They thought it was really good and the song soon became a smash hit single off the Soundtrack . Soon Kelly went off to record her debut CD "Shut Up!" which was released November 2002 .

Now , this CD single contains the Album version of "Papa Don't Preach" taken off "The Osbournes" Soundtrack . It also includes a Instrumental track (No vocals , only music) , and if you pop it into the computer , you can watch the music video and the "Making Of the Video" feature where they show a documentary of how Kelly made the music video . Overall , I gave this a five on Kelly's talent and the bonus features included in the Cd . Don't wait , buy this now !
