This is an instruction book with supplies for beginning paper beading. My niece, age 12, was very happy with the book as she was able start beading immediately. Very good illustrations for the rolling techniques. While adults might find this a bit scant, it is ideal for elementary to high school. Because it is self-contained, it is a perfect travel gift.

This is the best jewelry kit I have used in years! The paper beads are easy to make, and so are the designs! I would suggest making all the beads first, then using them in the jewelry designs. When my mom got me this kit I was so excited I woke up at six to do it! I loved this kit!

My 9 year-old and 12 year-old granddaughters LOVE the paper bead book and papers. They like the fact the papers are double-sided so they can choose one paper, or alternate with a matching color. The instructions are easy in the book and the girls love the variety of ideas for different styles of jewelry. They have been rolling beads all afternoon. There is a sufficient amount of pre-cut papers, but the girls wish there were hundreds more. <smile> With the things we learned from the book, we can cut our own papers or do as the book suggests and use old magazine covers. I am very glad I purchased the book and kit. This will be an activity we will do many times over the years. I am going to buy another book to give to a different granddaughter for her birthday.
