Review

"Ted McCagg is a truly original thinker who really makes me laugh. And for that, I hate him." -Conan O'Brien

About the Author

Ted McCagg is not an artist by trade. In fact he has spent the last 15 years in the world of advertising as a writer. He did take a drawing class in college, but only because it was considered an easy A. He currently lives in Portland with his wife and daughter, and wonders what his parents really think of his work.

What's not to love? The artwork is perfectly simple, the humor is hilariously twisted and the quality of the book is great. Plus you have the pleasure of telling people that you are currently reading a book called Paper Doll Orgy.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and look at it from time to time. I thank my friend for sharing this book with me, the author is very creative in what he is done- a must read and view book.

Ted McCagg might have been shunned by the New Yorker for his "questionable drawing skills," but his ability to create page after page of hilarious, irreverent, insightful and wickedly funny drawings make me want to tell the haters to suck it.

Get this book for yourself and buy it for twenty of your friends, they'll thank you for turning them onto the up and coming talent genius that is Ted McCagg.

Ted McCagg has one of the more brilliantly twisted minds going. If you don't laugh many, many times while reading this book (of cartoons), you need to have your "sense of humor" chip replaced. (Oh, and: Conan O'Brien agrees with me). Highly recommended.

In certain quiet moments of my day, one of Ted McCagg's drawings will pop into my head and make me laugh. Currently, I'm getting alot of mileage out of "notes of regret." There... just grinned again. Highly recommended!
