5.0 out of 5 stars Great toy set
My son was a knight for Halloween and this matched his costume perfectly. Plus I didn't play that much for it. The handle on the shield did break when I pulled a little too hard to get it to latch. Over all for the price he still plays with both after a little help from some elastic. I would buy this again for him, even if he wasn't a knight.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not durable
Could have bought similar one at dollar tree. The product is very cheap and not worth it, they break and bend very easily. If just using for a prop then it will be ok, but you can get one at the dollar tree cheaper for quality.

5.0 out of 5 stars "Must have" knight accessory, November 15, 2008

Although we had to set rules about when and how these accessories could be used, they were fantastic. My son wore them with his medieval knight Halloween costume and he was delighted with them. They are very sturdy and of excellent quality for the price.

My son was a knight for Halloween. This was exactly what we were looking for to complete his ensemble. He liked carrying it around on Halloween night, and now he likes playing with it for fun. The sword isn't super sturdy, but for the value it's great.

The sword and sheild are made of thick durable plastic. It worked perfectly with the Knight costume we bought. Details are pretty nice and the size was small enough to be conveinient to carry on Halloween night.

4.0 out of 5 stars For a Narnian Princess, January 5, 2012

After watching The Chronicles of Narnia Trilogy over and over and over... my little "Narnian Princess" wanted her own sword and shield. So we did a search and the appearance of the shield was one of the closest ones that would resemble a shield in the movie. We even found a knights helmet at one of the local superstores. My only negative aspect of this product (despite having a pre-teen in the home who broke the sword after a few months) is that the silver paint on the sword wears off easily only after a couple sword fights. Nevertheless, the durability and size for a 4 y/o is perfect. All one really needs is a good imagination. A good buy.

This sword and shield is perfect for my 2 year old newphew who's going to be a knight for Halloween. The colors work perfectly with his costume. It's also perfectly scaled for a toddler.

3.0 out of 5 stars Broke on first day :(, November 11, 2009

Well I bought this for Halloween for my son. He was Zelda. The day it arrived, we went to a Halloween party and the sword broke. Granted he is 10 and was probably playing sword fighting with it. It is quite small and flimsy, but would probably work well for a younger boy who wasn't very rough (is there such a thing?).

The shield is fantastic and the sword looks realistic. However, the blade broke after my 3-year-old played with it for only a few days. We were disappointed because this is the number one thing he had asked for for Christmas.
