I don't know what I was thinking when I ordered this - I bought the large, which fit my 70 pound lab okay (although the hat is tiny - more for a doll's head than a dog's, but it can perch on the side). The hat literally lasted less than two seconds, before she shook her head, sending the parrot flying and snapping the cord holding it on. I reattached the cord and tried to put it on again, but same result. The pants fit, but who puts pants on a dog? It occurred to me that if she decides to squat and go to the bathroom while in costume, it will be quite a mess. Overall, I think it's okay for photo ops, but not the most practical costume out there. I'm shopping for a costume that she'll tolerate (like one that rides on her back, not her head and/or tail).
