I love this eraser. The small diameter of the refill gets into small spaces of crosswords and sudoku puzzles. It's also good for erasing a single character of handwritten material without disturbing adjacent characters.

I bought one of these many years ago in college. The two eraser sticks that it came with lasted me through 2+ years of engineering school. The Tuff-Stuff erasers are a smaller diameter than your standard click style eraser, but they last 4x as long. You are able to make a point out of the tip by erasing at an angle, and the tip won't break off the next time you use it because it is "Tuff". Another advantage is that the eraser holder doesn't click, it advances the eraser more like a mechanical pencil. This is nice because it doesn't push the eraser back up inside when you have a lot of erasing to do and you are really bearing down on it. You also don't annoy the people around you with the incessant clicking when you fidget with it. I would recommend this product to anyone without hesitation.

This eraser stick is wonderful for any pencil puzzles that use small squares and grids, as the other reviewer said. On good paper, it doesn't smear the pencil mark, and it leaves relatively few crumbs. For Sudoku, crosswords, and Paint By Numbers, it is absolutely perfect. Why is it so hard to find in office supply stores?
