If using these Pens to draw the illustrious prince of fire, then they do not hold up as well since Paper Mate changed the old formula. They used to be great art Pens but they are more water-based ink now so it isn't as dark or pronounced.

Okay for regular use though, but I don't like them as much now since it looks like a watery ink.

Amazon's suggestions tell me to review these pens for some reason, so here we go.

This is basically a lifetime supply of marker pens, because they never run out of ink...at least from what i've seen. I've never seen one dry out, even when leaving the cap off overnight. The only reason i bought a 12 pack is because i lose them every once in a while.

This is the second box I have ordered from Paper Mate. If you are looking for a pen that can create an impact on your paper note pad, this is the one.
I bought my first box based on one of the reviews here and till now I am still very satisfied with the purchase and it is for this reason, a second box has been procured.
It is especially useful if you need a writing instrument to draw your audience's attention when explaining to them with a note pad. It has a definite domineering impact. The generous flow of ink from the tip of the marker is just right - creating the impact and not too much so that it does not smudge on the flip side of the paper on which you are using.
i would certainly recommend this kind of pen to any one who is in a position of leadership for so he or she needs to make a definite stance with the pen at times.

My disappointment is not toward the product in general , but towards the particular product I received.

I have been using this particular pen for a long time and absolutely love it. However, the pack of 12 I received from amazon contained 12 pens- all of which had dried up.

I hope it was a one-off thing from amazon and I was unfortunate enough to receive a faulty product.

I recommend the pens though -- just a lesson that even products received directly from amazon.com can sometimes be faulty.

The paper mate flair is a good pen for folks who do a lot of writing in whatever form. I like the easy flow and not having to press down hard or grip the pen tightly. I haven't had to replace one yet, so not sure about how long each pen lasts, but so far, so good.

I HAVE BEEN USING THESE PENS FOR A LONG TIME. THEY WORK VERY WELL FOR ME, AS I LIKE A RED PEN THAT IS BRIGHT AND READILY SEEN.
