Directions for life:
Buy this release and listen to it until it is in your marrow. Then make a pirate's hat out of newspaper, drink, and sing along. Loudly. The next day, go out and buy the rest of Ben Weaver's stuff. Game over, you win.

i have much sentiment for the first 3 ben weaver cds that made their way into my home, but this 4th one really outshines them all. same great songwriting, same great world weary delivery; but the music and production are more adventuresome, more interesting. fans of steve earle, tom waits, iron & wine, richmond fontaine, greg brown, etc... climb on the ben weaver train if you have not done so already. this is a spectacular album.
